We received this as a gift for our wedding and we love it! It makes baking so easy. I've especially loved using the bread hook to make homemade bread, biscuits, and dough. The color is great and matches many things. It cleans up nice as well.

My homemade rainbow coloured angelfood cakes (the family favourite for a birthday cake) have never been as high as they are now since I purchased the KitchenAid mixer. My 4 year old grand-daughter helped make her first birthday cake for her daddy and loved the lofty egg whites (and licking the bowl.)
Pros: Design, stable and with the steel bowl great childproof f, easy to use, Performance, Convenient Features
Cons: heavy to move on the counter or to a new space

My best friend introduced me to her mother's 60s-era Kitchenaid mixer when we were younger - - and I swore one day I'd have one of my own. Here we are some 20+ years later, and I finally have one. =)
I thought that it would be difficult for a first-timer to get used to - but between the instructions and advice from other Kitchenaid owners (including my best friend, who now has her mom's Kitchenaid mixer)... it has been an incredibly easy journey, and it's been a joy to use. Now I don't view cooking as a chore... it's something I love doing. My Kitchenaid mixer was key in making me comfortable in the kitchen.

I was married back in 1997 and registered for this. Never received it and we just went on. For the past 3 years I've wanted this for Christmas but then this year it was mine! The first time I used it I didn't have to scrape the bowl. Then mashed potatoes!!!!!!! They are amazing! My older mixer could never have prepared them as well as this one does.

I've had my KitchenAid Mixer for almost a year now. As an avid baker, it has been worth every penny. I know I'll have it for life. It is easy to use and mixes, whips, and kneads beautifully. Although I had a problem with the dough hook, I called customer service and they walked me through fixing the problem immediately. I keep my mixer out on my counter as I find it decorative too!
