I've wanted this mixer for years - I don't remember any issues with mom's mixer. It still sits on her kitchen counter waiting for the next batch of cookies or...
Anyway - I love my red KitchenAid but I noticed that it misses getting the ingredients up from the bottom completely and adding ingredients during operation is a little messy.
It's definitely got the power I wanted and it's easy to use and clean-up.

I have always wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer. My very thoughtful sons surprised me with one this Christmas! Having always used portable mixers, I was amazed by the power that this has! I am so thrilled watching it work that I give a shout out to family members to watch it work! Love it!
