Really have enjoyed my mixer. I should get an "add an ingredient chute." It is awkard to add ingredients as is. It does a marvelous job of kneading with the dough hook. Ingeneous! It has such wonderful speed, too. Also like the variety of mixing implements. I should not have waited 47 years until my Hamilton Beach mixer "died" to get a Kitchen Aid!
Pros: Innovative, easy to use, Design, Convenient Features, Performance
Cons: need to wash beaters by hand. bowls??, hard to add ingredients while mixing.

I'm enjoying baking more since my husband gave me this mixer. My cakes come out more light and fluffy. Probably because they are now evenly mixed. Changing parts is easy.
Pros: easy to use
Cons: i have to stop and scrap the bowl

My husband gave this to me for Mother's Day in 2003! It is still going strong! I make everything from meatloaf/meatball mixtures to pizza dough, to cookies to whatever requires mixing! Easy to use...easy to clean! As a matter of fact, I just purchased a new one yesterday and can't wait to get it. Now I can do double the baking at one time!!! Love this mixer!!! I suggested that my niece buy one for her mother (about 5 years ago) and my sister in-law loves it, too!!!
