When I was a little girl, my mother owned a kitchen aid mixer and we cooked together and had a blast. Those were some of my fondest memories because they didn't last long due to a devastating and life changing event, a house fire. After that, I always said that I would get my own kitchen aid mixer and recreate some of the best times of my childhood and that is exactly what I did. The mixer is easy to use, durable, and makes me feel like a master baker. Ha ha ha! It is an investment because one day I, too, will create memories of baking and having quality time with my children just like my mother did with me! My wonderful hubby purchased the mixer for me at Christmas and just in time my other mixer had died and it was time to make cookies! It is so easy to use, just sit it on the counter plug it in and go! Mine is red so I named it Ruby, also my hubby's late mother's name, I was going to call it Big Red! lol...can't wait to start purchasing the attachments for ice cream, pasta etc.
