I know a lot of people dont know about N.E.R.D and thats ashame cuz they are one of the greatest groups around. With Pharrell Shae and Chad doing some vocals and beats it just adds to the hype of this album. So this may not be as classic as there first two albums but in my opinion its better but its more versatile and i like that in an album. They dont just stick to one sound they change it up which makes it so much easier to enjoy. Anyone who is into hip hop or experimental music will love. N.E.R.D fans will love and Pharrell fans will love. The Neptunes have some of the greatest beats to ever hit the music industry and they are stayin strong through this whole cd. All i can say is get them some more exposure go out and get there cd i would be completely shocked if u didnt enjoy this cd more than any other youve bought this year. Check it out for yourself. GREAT CD SERIOUSLY cuz im not even a N.E.R.D fan all that much but now i am because of this cd so pick it up and pop it in the cd player and let it ridee
What's great about it: It's unlike most stuff out there which gives it a great unique feel
What's not so great: Too little tracks but doesnt take away from the album

For those of you that are not already N.E.R.D. fans you can totally enjoy it for the beats even if you don't know what they are singing about. For those that are fans and understand their complex way of telling stories and giving you images with words, this cd will blow your mind. I think this is their best yet although I think everything they do is just above what anybody else can do!! An absolute must have for anyone who truly enjoys music!!
What's great about it: There is not one bad song on this cd
What's not so great: I wish it was a double cd it is just that good!

When I first heard N.E.R.D. were releasing a new album I was releaved. Months Earlier I heard rumors of a break-up. After hearing Pharrell's "In my mind" I realized how much Chad must bring to the collective. Expectations high, and eager to hear the new material. I somehow resisted downloading a leaked version of the album. It was worth the wait. Almost every track seems focused and on point. Only a few misteps "anti matter" keeps the album from being perfect. Overall I was impressed by how much these guys have grown musically. Although I wish for "U know what" the trio would have let Res handle the vocals as originally intended. Pharrell does his thing for pretty much the whole album. A must have if you liked The first NERD album.
What's great about it: Fresh, eclectic, and great production
What's not so great: Some questionable lyrics, some songs sound like previous Neptunes production
