Great temp control

temp control, well suited for my garage environment. Improve lid sealing gasket to body would be a great improvement to an already reliable product. This would eliminate minor air infiltration into body of freezer

Exactly as advertised, does the job, no problems with it and had it 2 years so far. The lock mechanism doesn’t seem to work well, isn’t lined up perfectly to allow it to lock.

I’m very happy with my new GE garage-ready chest freezer, and it seems happy to be purring away quietly in my garage. The interior is efficiently designed, all straight edges to maximize space. It’s the GE quality
I expect but light enough I can easily move it solo. I would definitely recommend this freezer, especially if you’re looking for one for a location like a garage that isn’t climate controlled.

This is a replacement unit for the one I have had for the last 30 years. It still worked but I feel that this one will be cheaper to operate. I would have given it 5 stars but I see that it uses a flammable refrigerant. For me this isn't critical as it is placed on my deck. We are in a climate that doesn't exceed the operating temperatures of the unit.

We love our freezer. It’s in a perfect area of our house. It’s very quiet. We are actually saving money with freezer items that we can buy in bulk. It’s a worthwhile purchase.

I've been using this freezer for almost two months. So far so good. It is very spacious. Now I can put all the frozen foods inside without having to remove their boxes. Also, it is quiet. It sits inside my basement; but I barely notice it even if I stay there for quite some time. Yes, it has formed a thin layer of ice now; but for such a big manual defrost freezer I guess it is expected. Very helpful especially at this pandemic time.
