A real dud!

Purchased this freezer brand new in January. In April it quit working. We lost some food before we noticed it had quit. After multiple phone calls and waiting endlessly for replacement parts, we received a new freezer. Let's hope it works 100% better than the first!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The freezer I purchased is just the right size. The bright white is so clean and crisp. Planning on enjoying this freezer for many years to come. I'm in love with all my GE appliances.

nice freezer

This freezer replaced a 15 cu. ft. freezer we bought new in 1983. It is supposed to be much more efficient, and we look forward to a lower monthly utility bill. The three baskets, though small, slide sideways easily for access to the goods below.

This is exactly what I was looking for as the garage ready feature was very important to me. The seal fits very tight and the light turns on when opened and lights up the interior just right. I am looking forward to a long life and service from this freezer.

This GE chest freezer is very quiet! Whenever I go grab something from the garage and don’t hear it running, I almost believe it’s not on until I open the door to make sure! We got it about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. Overall it’s a great product.
