I just received this chest freezer today. Installation and setup were easy. However, I did have to realign the lock on the lid because it was crooked. Also, it appears that a screw on the inside light was not screwed in properly, but it still works.
The size is perfect and it's an energy saver to boot!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just bought this unit and I am sure it will work fine for me. My only complaint already is
that I have to buy an adapter to drain the water when I defrost it. This should of been
included with the keys. Where do I buy this adapter????

The size is perfect for storing extra items bought on sale. The exterior power LED adds a little piece of mind because the unit runs so incredibly quiet. Baskets add a bit of organization. Locking feature also nice touch. If you are looking for a solid mid size chest freezer, this should definitely be at the top of your list.

We raised pigs and needed a freezer for 180 pounds of meat. I was looking for quality, light, energy efficiency and this GE was the best after looking at many online and comparing. Very happy with the size and the quality and how fast it came to temperature.
