While I've only had the freezer for less than a month, I am completely happy with it. It is an excellent value and I am glad it has energy star ratings compliant with existing requirements.

Glad I upgraded to this freezer

Wanted to reduce my electric bill with an energy efficient freezer. Had a choice of a larger size by another brand, but this freezer had a lower operating cost per year, with better internal features making organizing the freezer easier. Glad I upgraded to this freezer from my older unit.

I just bought this for my off grid solar experiment. So far it is using about 15% less power than claimed. We lose power frequently so this is our backup to keep from losing food. I am glad that it sips power.
