Slightly too big but that's okay. My main issue is that I expected it to have a temperature setting or a display to tell you what the temperature is, but it only has a min/max dial. Otherwise the freezer is good.

We bought this freezer after reading a lot of reviews and comparing sizes and manufacturers. We went with GE (again) and we have been thoroughly impressed. The energy efficiency looked great, the freezer is ice cold and quiet. So far it has performed above and beyond. The true test will be in the years to come thus why I can't say 5 stars yet. But given GE's track record for quality, it will probably earn the 5th star!

We have 4 freezers that are completely filled from our large garden. Our old 43 year old freezer just died and we were looking for a similar sized replacement. After reading the reviews on his freezer it looked like a suitable replacement. Very impressed with the quality of construction and storage configuration. Will let you know if it lasts 43 years.
