So far, so good

Easy to carry down a flight of steps with two people and moving straps. Cooled down fast once plugged in. Keeping temp well so far (2wks). Only complaint is that the front of the freezer is slightly bowed out and the front edge of the lid doesn't exactly line up with the bowed edge. The seal seems to still be good, so we didn't pack it up, carry it back up the steps and back to the store. This is the 2nd GE appliance that was damaged before being put in the box at the factory (quality control??), so that's it for us for GE.

Freezer cools quickly. Multiple hanging baskets make separating various contents easier. Good basic, no frills, economical unit that does it's job. Interior and exterior appearance is good. Exterior light indicating unit is getting power a valuable feature.

I reviewed many freezers before deciding on this one. I am glad I chose it. It maintains -9 as I have it set. Plenty of room in it. Don't buy a smaller one than this.

I bought this freezer a few months ago to replace a small GE freezer I had for quite a while. It has met every expectation I had. It is roomy and the addition of the 3 baskets makes it easy to organize. Very energy efficient also. Just love it!
