quiet running machine.

I bought this a month ago to replace an old GE freezer that was easily was 50 years old. So far this has worked very good. I like the extra space that this freezer gives you. So far I have been happy with this freezer. I guess time will tell how long we have this one.

Nice little freezer

Good freezer, but the lock is a joke.
The cheap lock mechanism is an exterior attachment. A tiny key moves a thin metal lever from the main body into a latch on the front side of the freezer's top door. The lever is exposed between the lower and upper portion of the lock, and can easily be pushed back to the unlatched position by your finger. The keyed portion on the lower lock just moves the lever to the right or left position without locking the latch in the up (locked) or down (unlocked) position after removing the key. The lock is not child proof, so do not expect it to be if you need to keep the terrible two's aged children out of it. Can't screw in a hasp lock latch because of refrigerant coils in the side of unit.
