Good value for the money

I am very pleased with the freezer. I like the idea that it has hand holds on either end of the door for easy opening when you have items in your arm to put in the freezer. It will be very easy to clean with the drain system in the bottom and the fact that it has a screw in plug to keep unwanted items from entering the drain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

- Good size -- compact enough to fit through doors and up stairs easily, but feels like a huge capacity
- Quiet operation
- Nice features -- the light is a great addition and the wire hanging baskets are perfectly sized for quart-sized freezer bags
- So far, the construction and operation seem to be very good quality

Just the size we needed

We retired and moved. Got rid of the old freezer but wanted a small one for just the two of us. Did my research and found this GE model. Perfect size with a great track record. Looking forward to many years of service from it.

Great Value & Excellent Choice for living Off-Grid

Very happy with the chest freezer. Lots of room, easy on the batteries. Uses about 600 watts a day per the yellow EnergyGuide label.
