The Good:
Multiplayer...its amazing how multiplayer saves some games. Single player is worth a play to kill time if nobody is is online (or to unlock the zombie level). But honestly the only reason you should buy this game is for the multiplayer. It has all of the aspects we loved about CoD4 plus extra classes for prestieges, a couple extra perks and drivable vehicles.
The Bad:
If you liked Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare, expect this to be nothing like it. Sorry to disappoint but Infinity Ward, even though they did use the same engine. The single player is swapped with enemies and if you stand in one place for more then 3 seconds expect an MG-42 or a squad of banzais to kill you. And really, why did we go back to WWII? Modern Warfare was the best game of the year, mainly because it wasnt a WWII game.
The Ugly:
Graphics arent bad, especially if you like shades of gray and beige. They didnt at all try and expand the use of color in this game in some cases the only thing on a map that isnt gray brown or black is the flag that your supposed to capture.
Still waiting for CoD: Modern Warfare 2....
What's great about it: Everything that was good about CoD4
What's not so great: Not CoD4

Overall I think that this is a great game. The solo missions are great and the competition co-op is really fun. I've only played the multiplayer a little bit but so far I haven't had any problems with it. The only thing that can get annoying are the tanks in multiplayer. But I think this is one of the best games I've played in a long time.
What's great about it: Solo, co-op missions and multiplayer
What's not so great: tough to see sometimes when it's dark
I would recommend this to a friend!

i love the game . graphics=awesome they are probably the best part about it and i love how it makes you feel like your in the game . i recomend buying a chair that you hook the sound up to . i think it is as good as surround sound.buy the game and you will love it.have fun and kill some people .bye
What's great about it: the greatest part about it is the intensity of the game, you are always moving and some thing is always going on.
What's not so great: in my opinion,i like the whole game and nothing is bad about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

World war 2 again...Snap this game is bad or is it

The game is great it.It has more gore then COD4 and the action will keep you on your toes and ready for anything.It also has one of the best easter eggs ever put into a video game.Although it does bring you back to world war 2 it is a side shown it from never before so yes I would recommend this game.
What's great about it: Everything about it is great expecially the suprise after you beat the Campaign.(Zombie Mode)
What's not so great: Its made by Treyarch not Infinity Ward which its just not the same.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is really great. I got COD 4 and loved the game so i naturally bought COD 5 even though I'm not into World War II games. I have to say i was surprised. I really only play online and i cant complain about anything. It takes the strong points of COD 4 and eliminates the weak points. Anyone who got tired of COD 4 or just likes 1st person shooters should get this game.
What's great about it: The Online Play
What's not so great: Nothing Really
I would recommend this to a friend!

WW2....AGAIN!

When I first heard that Call of Duty 5 was not going to be developed by Infinity Ward (the creators of Call of Duty 1, 2, and 4) i died a little inside.... i knew that Treyarch would get their grubby hands on this awesome series and set the bar back that Modern Warfare raised.
And i was right...kind of...
This is indeed just another WW2 shooter....same story...same bad guys...same ending as the first, 2nd, and 3rd COD, as well as every other WW2 game.
That being said, its probably also the best WW2 game around, though, this late in the game, thats honestly not saying that much.
I finished the singleplayer campaign on hardcore in 4 hours. This game is SHORT. It has absolutly no replay value whatsoever.
But you do get a nice reward for completing the game. You unlock Zombies. In this mode you try and defend a broken down house from waves of zombies. They grow in numbers and in strength the longer you survive.
Its fun for the first 10 or 20 playthroughs, but after that it gets very boring.
The multiplayer is mediocre, and you should stick with CoD4 for that.
The only reason i'd recommend this game to anyone is the online Co-Op campaign. But thats about it..
6.3/10
What's great about it: nice weapons, sound effects.
What's not so great: World War 2, repetative 'missions', length
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

yet another great call of duty game, and much of the same from call of duty 4
(this is good for some, and boring for others)
however, what is unfortunate is that it is like other world war II games, and it was developed by treyarch
PS
zombie mode is amazing
What's great about it: vehicles, online play, zombies
What's not so great: treyarch

Great online game. Very good integration of tanks. N*** (Apparently its censored) zombies is alot of fun, but can get boring after a little while.
The campaign can get a little wierd. Im still working on it, but from what I have done, I dont really like how it switches from western to eastern from over and over. It can get confusing. I wish they took one company or something and followed it through the war. Maybe from landing on D-Day to falling of Berlin. Its a great game though. I do recommend this if you have played COD4.
What's great about it: graphics, multiplayer, n***(censored?) zombies
What's not so great: campaign.
I would recommend this to a friend!
