It wasn't my idea to get this "game"

Let me first start out by saying that CoD 5 is less than a new installment in the CoD franchise and more like an expansion pack to CoD 3. The game looks like it was originally developed for the Xbox, its graphics are just that bad. In another review I wrote for Gears of War 2, I also bashed this game, but this review continues the critical roast. There are some new settings in CoD 5 that were not in any of the previous WW2 games, i.e; Hawaii. There is also a flamethrower that makes its first debut in a CoD game. That is about it. So if you want to relieve essential moments in WW2, you might as well just play CoD 2 or 3 because even they are a whole lot much better. CoD 4 is obviously still king.
What's great about it: You can completely blow off enemies' body parts with the more powerful weapons
What's not so great: There are very few things new from CoD 3
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I myself am not into war / first person shooters that take place in eras gone past like the world wars but this game was well done. The engine used in this game is the same used in part 4 I beleive. If you love first person shooters and love the cod series this is a must have.
What's great about it: Same engine and good graphics of cod 4
What's not so great: based in the past world war 2 or so
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had this for the PS3 and traded it in for the xbox360 version. The PS3 would disconnect while playing online constantly. The Xbox version is far superior for online play. The maps get stale after awhile and as of 01\22\09 there still hasn't been a new download. I would recommend this to anyone who likes 1st person shooters and online play.
What's great about it: Online gaming
What's not so great: The campaign is boring
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome game, if you like Call of Duty 4, you're going to love this one. Call of Duty is one of the main reason I bought a 360, and this game continues to support me. Get it now!
What's great about it: Zombies, Co-op, Online
What's not so great: More Campaign and Maps for Zombies! Please!!

The online play on this game is so addicting its ridiculous. The only drawbacks are that its very short in one player campaign mode, and it takes a extremely long time to unlock all the perks and weopons in online play. Overall its still the best game to date.
What's great about it: Online and Graphics
What's not so great: Very Short

it was mediocre compared to other hyped up games

the visuals hold up well, kiefer sutherland is the main voice over actor.
(But the story, like all other ww2 games) gets you unmotivated to keep playing because you already know all aspects of ww2.
online mode is good, it carries over perks and other layouts like modern warfare to customizing your soldier. But in the end i still would end up thinking " I'd rather play call of duty 4. "
overall its decent, not great. I'd recommend this game if you don't like gears or fallout. but those games are better in my opinion.
What's great about it: 4 player co-op story, "zombie" Game mode
What's not so great: yet another ww2 game that gets boring after a few days
I would recommend this to a friend!

best online play for any game- forget halo 3

i bought this game for 35 dollars because all of my friends were buying it, and after playing halo 3 for nearly a year i forgot all about it after my 3rd multiplayer match. this is the best multiplayer game for the 360 and i have had GTA IV, Halo 3, Gears 2, Bad Company, but this game beats all by a longshot
What's great about it: the best game ever
What's not so great: guns are ok, some campaign on veteran difficulty is like impossible
I would recommend this to a friend!
