Have been a customer for well over 3 years, I just ordered ink for a new copier, received it on time, removed the old cartridge and placed in my recycle bag, then I put one of the new cartridges in, made a copy, it seemed VERY light in print..... took cartridge back out, checked it, replaced it back in my printer, it alerted me that I had just put in a " used cartridge".... which was odd for only printing one page, I proceeded to make another copy, and it came out BLANK, I carefully removed the cartridge again, put it back, it again said I had put in a used cartridge, I hit copy, and it came out blank again.
Frustrated because I had my boss and a client waiting on me, I removed the cartridge, opened up the second new cartridge, put it in, hit copy and it came out ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, unlike the light print from the first cartridge. I'm not sure if I received a "lemon cartridge", but have never had this happen before.
I am hoping HP will make this right by offering me an exchange on this 'bad' ink cartridge, at no extra cost to me, considering. I would like to continue referring HP to all my family, friends, colleges and clients, I enjoy the ease of shopping for my office needs on line with HP, and the convenience of next day delivery to my door! Can't beat it!

My other ink I have bought which has been HP has been very good. This last one prints fairly light, like it was drying out, but I can live with it. I will still stay with HP products , for I feel they are the only way to go. Far as the ink cartridge you will have bad in anything. Thanks HP

Apparently I need one or more color cartridges in order to print pages that have color on them even though I just want black printing and could care less about color. I wasn't told this when I ordered. That's frustrating. Consequently, I cannot print until I order color ink cartridges. What a dissappointment.
