Hi, sorry to hear you are not happy with the performance and page yield of your HP 564 Magenta Ink Cartridge. Thank you for taking the time to submit a review, I appreciate your feedback. We would appreciate if you can share with us the exact issues you are experiencing with your cartridge so that we can assist you accordingly. Also regarding Page yield, historically printer manufacturers used their own methods for estimating page yield. However, this made it difficult to compare different products. Nowadays, the published page yield is based on the Industry Standard for measuring yields (refer to International Standards Organization ISO 24711). The actual yield varies considerably based on the content of the printed pages, the frequency of printing, the ink used in set-up etc. You may find that you will get more pages when printing in Fast draft mode. XL size cartridges offer up to 50% lower cost per page compared with standard size cartridges. Our recommendation would be that you leave your printer powered on in normal usage conditions, only power it down if you will not use it for an extended period of time (ie: longer than one month). New cartridge didn't print well, so replaced it with yet another new one and printing was even worse. Until I put the first cartridge in, the printer had been working fine. Color cartridges were installed the day prior, so we're also fairly new.
