I recently bought a two pack of 564 and the second package, after only 4 days and I only print 1 page a day, my printer said i was out of ink. First time I have had an issue like this. The second pkg must have been defective.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi,
I am so sorry that you were sent a cartridge that didn't work very well. That should not have happened to you!
If the warranty ends date (printed on the cartridge) has not passed, you can get a replacement from us. Just use a contact method found at: hp.com/contactHP
Bought my ink over a month ago And still using only one cartridge. I do scrapbooking, so I print several pictures. The ink quality is the best. I have tried other brands, but will only buy HP inks from now on.
I’ve only ever used genuine HP ink cartridges in my inkjet photo printer. The HP 564 black 2-pack cartridges produce deep blacks and rich grayscale shading, even when printing multiple pages at a time. My only small complaint is that cartridges seem to last 2 months, maximum, in our house. I’m okay replacing them frequently for excellent quality, never-smudge printing.
I have always bought genuine HP products, thinking over time I would be protecting my investment in a printer. However this last set of cartridges lasted about 1/4 as long with no additional printing on my part. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
i'm sorry that you were disappointed with the page yield.
It is difficult to say how long before a cartridge will need to be replaced. Provided that it is not damaged or defective, the ink usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints will use up a cartridge rapidly, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the environment is dry. Also black is used more than any of the colors.
Using the draft and black only settings on your printer helps save ink. Also, shutting the printer down between uses can help. However, you always have to use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That will let the printer 'park' itself so that the cartridges are protected from excess drying.
I have been using these cartridges for more than four years and have not had any trouble. They are easy to load, and shipment is very fast when I need to order new ones.
Cartridge only printed 11 (not full) pages. Very disappointed! Should have had much more in in a new cartridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
