Black ink cartridge did not print black

The black ink cartridge would not print black or hardly any black until I cleaned it. I have never had this problem with a new HP cartridge before. This wastes both the ink in the new black cartridge and the ink in the other three color cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really like this HP Photosmart B210 for its wireless capabilities but the ink cartridges don't last long enough. I would not have bought it had I known I'd be changing cartridges so often.

I have to replace much too often because the ink does not last. I do not print a great amount, but
have to replace the cartridge about every 3 months.

After my original black ink emptied, I bought the black double pack. So far, it is working just as expected & hoped for.

Good to Use HP 564 2-Pack Ink Cartridges

Extremely easy to remove old cartridge from printer and install new cartridge. Excellent performance. Printer lets you know when the ink is running low. Very handy to have 2 ink cartridges in a pack. Love this product!

There is room in the ink cartridge dock for a wider black cartridge. Why not offer an extra large capacity? I guess offering the black two-pack at a reasonable price does the same thing but requires more frequent change-outs.
