Bought this to replace a five year old top of the line unit that had been repaired three times! Needed a new pump and warranty ran out a month before it quit ! Decided to replace brand and got great reviews from friends and family on this particular model ! Have had a couple of months ! Does a great job! Just hope it is going to last awhile.

I got this in May and have barely used it. I'm waiting on my second service appointment to figure out why everything i wash comes out with black dots on it. Now my dishes are coming out moldy. Should've kept my old dishwasher

Very disappointed!!

We bought this dishwasker a year or so ago and have been nothing but disappointed with it from the start. We are so disappointed with this dishwasher that we are already shopping for a new one. It never cleaned the dishes the way it claimed, leaving the dishes dirty even when there was hardly any dishes in there to wash. It is noisy, the door makes a terrible sound when opening and closing with no way of oiling the hinges without pulling the whole thing out.
The most disappointing part is the quality of the washing, I might as well just wash my dishes by hand since that it basically what I am doing now before putting them in the dishwasher to just basically get sanitized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our home in January and in August our dishwasher "died". We shopped around and purchased Frigidaire model FGBD2438PB. We had a local appliance guy do the installation and when he saw the unit in the box he said "you bought a good one". That made us feel good.
