I bought this a month ago, this freezer has great suction when door is closed, u don't even have to lock it. You really have to pull to open, which is a good thing. This freezer is so roomy we can really fit and find what we are looking for. Wish they'd ask for a review a few years after purchase to really see how things are running..

Great freezer Keeps temperature without running that often. Has plenty of room and easy to maintain. The auto defrost function is a wonderful feature. I am sure I will be happy with this freezer for many years.

I previously had a frigidaire that I had had for 26 years and it wouldn't die. The only reason I got rid of it and bought a new one is it wasn't frost free. If this one last half that long I will be a happy camper. But I am loving the frost free and the room I have in it. I love the shelves in the door. The only thing I would love different is the old one had a basket in the bottom that I loved this one does not. But I really have no complaints about this one.

Frigidaire Freezer

After first opening, then closing the door I could not get it to open again. The suction is too strong. I called the service/maintenance department and they recommended you wait up to 3 minutes before opening again. I find that very inconvenient. I never would have purchased this freezer if I have been aware. You have to pull so hard that the freezer actually moves. To force it open you have to be tall enough to put one have on top of the freezer to hold it while opening the door. We have a sign on the door to wait 2 to 3 minutes before reopening.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Mlra, thank you for sharing your situation with us. The tightness in the door seal indicates that the gasket is sealing properly. If you're opening the refrigerator, I suggest gently sliding your hand around the gasket and door frame to loosen the seal so that you can open the door. I hope this helps! Door is hard to pull open but frost free feature and temperature is good. Bought extra shelf to provide better organization.
