Great upright freezer.

This freezer is so much larger than old freezer. It makes a great sound when you close the freezer door, and door is sealing. The sound reminds me of something from Close Encounters. Its become reassuring to hear that & know the freezer door is sealed shut. You really have to tug to open the door which is good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Far, So Good (after a month or so)

It is full of food, and there are no thawing issues. There are no water leakage issues as well. The interior lighting does a good job of illuminating the entire inside all the way to the bottom in concert with the room lighting. Condensation does occur rather rapidly, quite understandably, if the door is left open for a time. The unit is somewhat noisy, however this is not a problem for me. I am not usually in the room with the appliance for any considerable length of time. It also serves as an audible indication that the unit is operating.

Love the extra space, easy to see food with the led lighting, lots of room for in the door storage too.

May be the greatest purchases I've ever made

I decided it was time to replace my old chest freezer that my grandmother had given me. I was in the market for an upright that would give me as much room as my chest freezer had. It also had to be energy efficient and have an indicator or alarm of some kind since it would live in the garage. When my new freezer was delivered I was surprised to find that not only did the contents of the old freezer all fit but there was room for more! The indicator light is bright, so everytime I step in the garage I know the freezer is working. I have had the freezer for over a month now. My power bill decreased by $28, at this rate the freezer will pay for itself in no time.

So Far So Great!

We work in a department that gets terribly hot in the summer time and we need a freezer to freeze our cooling vest bladders. The old freezer went out and we got this one to replace it. It is considerably bigger than our old one and that seems to freeze a lot faster. The selling point for us on this one was that it was made to operate in higher temperatures than the standard freezer.
I like it so much I want to buy one for my home and get rid of the antiquated chest freezer that's taking up half a room. Uprights are so much easier to deal with!
