[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been wanting a freezer for eons now, and finally saved up enough to get it ordered. We are SO happy with this purchase. We wanted this size specifically, and really love the shelving, spacing and room inside. It works fantastically well and haven't seen a spike in electricity usage, either, which is greatly appreciated.

Loud!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has got to be the loudest appliance I've ever purchased! If it weren't one floor down from the living area in my house, it would drive me nuts. In addition, you almost pull your arm out of socket when you open the door.

I am bummed out to learn your freezer is making loud sounds.
Modern appliances have increased storage capacity and more stable temperatures. They require a high-efficiency compressor. These sounds normally indicate your freezer is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable. I recommend reviewing “Before You Call” of your freezer’s “Use & Care” guide for a list of sounds and sights your freezer may experience.
Did you know? When the door is closed it creates a vacuum seal, making the door harder to open for a couple of minutes. Try waiting about 2 minutes before opening the door again, to allow the internal pressure to equalize. With usage, the vacuum seal will decrease. Please keep in mind, the less amount of items inside your freezer will make the door harder to open due to more air inside your freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my upright freezer. I have the 20". The best thing is the auto vacuum sealing. You actually can hear it! We you have to open it, you have lightly pull for 5 seconds for it to let go of the seal. Great space and LED inside light.

Bought ours new 4/15. Within 2 years we had to replace the starter capacitor. Now it has a coolant leak and we lost a LOT of food. So far I’m being advised it’s not worth repairing.
What happened to freezers lasting?
