Huge freezer doing a great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for only 3 weeks, but in the 100+ Texas heat and in the garage it is doing well. It can be hard to open, but only because of the heavy seal which keeps it tightly closed. No problems at all and we are happy.

Plenty of room

It does have ample space with lots of shelving. So you do not have to dig around trying to find what you want! While precious cold air is escaping, which translates into $$$$.
So far so good, time will tell if we made the right decision.

Very bad features

I am sorry to learn you are not happy with your freezer.
Did you know? When the door is closed it creates a vacuum seal, making the door harder to open for a couple of minutes. Try waiting about 2 minutes before opening the door again, to allow the internal pressure to equalize. With usage, the vacuum seal will decrease. Please keep in mind, the less amount of items inside your freezer will make the door harder to open due to more air inside your freezer.
I do show we were able to schedule a diagnostic visit to your home with an authorized service provider, and the tech was able to address your concerns about the performance and maintenance of your freezer.
Should you feel you need a revisit from our tech please call us directly. Our Customer Care Team can be reached at 800-374-4432 and available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-8pm EST. Or, send us an email to socialcare@frigidaire.com.
