Tight Seal!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it is working great. I like that it seals super tight when closed! We have a 1/4 cow worth of beef in ours and could't be happier with the performance so far. We also like the Energy Efficiency of it!

This freezer really freezes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been limping along for a while with a chest freezer and this has been a game changer. We can see everything clearly and with bins which we already own are able to keep everything neat. Very quiet. The door does seal very tightly which is good for the freezer but does challenge me. We lo e our new freezer.

Gets too hot

Can’t put anything next to it at all. Ended up returning it for a different freezer. Not happy with this. Have a refrigerator by them also and have had to have service on the ice maker 5 times.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a month ago, to replace our older similar model which lasted in our hot garage for about 12 years. This one is slightly bigger. I hope this one lasts as long.
Notes:
I purchased another rack shelf to maximize the space usage. I also kept the wire pull out basket from our older model, and made it work in the new one by zip tie-ing some smooth plastic "runners" so it would slide over the textured plastic cover at the very bottom of the freezer. Now it is at maximum capacity and usefulness. Beware the magnetic/suction on the door is extreme. You have to yank pretty hard to open the door, and I have to brace the freezer with my foot to keep from moving the whole appliance when opening it.

SO HAPPY I BOUGHT THIS FREEZER!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I come from a long line of Frigidaire Freezer buyers; so when I opted to buy a very large freezer to get rid of my smaller stand up and chest freezers, I did my research. I very much wanted to stay with Frigidaire but I was a bit scared from all of the reviews I read indicating that the newer models were terrible. Well, I bit the bullet and went ahead and bought this one. AT FIRST, I'd say the first 24-48 hours, I was worried. It made some noises that I wasn't at all sure about. I researched it and found this is NORMAL until it gets to temp and I guess gets "used to" running. At first, when I would open and close the door, it would kind of squeal for about 15 seconds. That stopped after it got to temp. It was and still is harder to open than I would have imagined; the secret is to pull on the handle with very slight pressure so as to GENTLY let the seal release and it opens just fine.It is NOT loud at all and this freezer is located in a laundry room which is right of my living room and kitchen and where I spend most of my time when I am not at work and I don't even notice when it kicks on and off. I absolutely am so pleased with this freezer..It is very much worth the price. I have had it up and running for almost a month now and have no complaints whatsoever.

LOTS OF ROOM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my new freezer now for over a month, and just love how roomy it is. Almost bought a 13 cu ft freezer instead, but glad I didn't. I make meals ahead to freeze and freeze my garden produce, so this freezer will be big enough for when I buy turkeys on sale, or a quarter beef. Love it!!
