Large Upright Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this freezer last Tuesday, and the delivery guys said to let it run a couple hours and then load my frozen food into it. The freezer seemed to be quiet, and everything seemed to be okay. However, after a couple hours the freezer was very noisy, so I called the place I had purchased it and they said a repairman would be out on Thursday to check it out. He came and said the cooling fan must have a defective bearing, so he ordered a new one. Now I must unload half the freezer when he returns so he can install the new part. Not something one expects when you purchase a new freezer to have it defective from the start, so I hope this is not an indication that I purchased a “lemon”.

Super size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this larger size freezer because we buy in quantity and freeze. We also have produce from our garden which we freeze. Love the storage space! It has a very tight seal on the door which is comforting although it requires a lot of strength to open the door. I’d rather have a tight seal since it is in our garage. That is another plus, it is garage ready so it CAN be in our garage.
