[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 months ago after our freezer of 18 years quit working. We had bought the same Frigidaire freezer about 4 years ago and it is still running well. Love that it is frost free!

Very Loud Fan. Door Hard to Open

Fairly convenient to store food but the fan is very loud and can be heard through walls beside, above and below unit. Much more noise than any refrigerator I've had and is closer to an average dishwasher in loudness. The door takes a yank with all my weight behind it to open the door. Frigidaire, there has to be a more quiet way to circulate air and an easier way to open a door. These are things the figured out decades ago!

Hello, Etfloor! Thank you for your review. With your new appliance, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. It is normal to experience a vacuum like suction from the freezer door. When the freezer door is opened, warm air rushes inside. When you close the door, all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. Hopefully, this helps. Nice Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new freezer. It’s spacious with plenty of racks that can be moved to fit anything. The door has an awesome seal. No worries about the door coming open on its own. It also has a locking door. I hope it lasts many years.
