Great purchase

Plus, I can organize my items and always find what I need. No more bending over into the freezer to dig around and no more waste from lost items buried in the bottom of the old chest freezer!

Super large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great freezer. So large, I am able to put an entire chest freezer and a regular stand alone freezer's amount of food inside. Able to see everything. The door is just hard to open. Each time I pull it open, the freezer moves towards me.

It is a bit larger than our old unit, which we thought we would not need but ended up happy it was. More than enough room. Great storage shelfs on the door and lots of light so it is easy to find things. Could not be happier.

Loud as all get out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our decibel meter registered 71 decibels for this hog. That’s 21 above the hum of the average refrigerator. It’s way too loud for our space and we will need to try to sell this and replace it with something less impacting to our daily life. Also worth noting, my grandmother would not be able to open this thing. The suction is very powerful and you really have to put your back into it to open it up. While I’m very disappointed in the freezer overall, it does keep my food frozen.

With your new appliance, modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. These are all normal sounds and soon will become familiar to you. The sounds indicate your appliance is operating as designed. Hard surfaces, such as vinyl or wood floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make sounds more noticeable. It is normal to experience a vacuum like suction from the freezer door. When the freezer door is opened, warm air rushes inside. When you close the door, all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. This will cause the door to be hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. Hopefully, this helps.
