This is large and energy efficient. Has worked great so far, with no frost for a change as compared to previous freezer. I only wish it had a basket on the bottom shelf.

Tons of space!

One of our 2 long term storage freezers died and we bought this to replace it. Even though both were 20cu ft this freezer is a little larger and definitely has more room on the inside than our other one. Both are Frigidaire but I don't know the other model.
The only possible complaint we have is that the racks in this one seem to be slightly thinner metal than the other one we have. When loaded down with the butchered cow and pig they definitely sag a little under all the weight. It's a minor issue that wouldn't keep me from buying this model again but worth noting if you are planning to store anything really heavy.

I bought this unit in May. It started making a loud noise in October. Unplugged it, plugged it back in and it stopped. Couple of nights later, the same happened. This time unplugging it did not help, it eventually stopped. Last week we discovered our whole freezer was defrosted. Tech coming out today. Hopefully it is just a fan problem. The jury is still out. This review seems unfair. Could be something simple. Could be a lemon. I will try and update after today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was wanting to purchase a large upright freezer for many years. I'm glad I made the purchase. I can stock up on meats and frozen foods now.
