Lots of room

Besides the shelves the door will hold a generous amount of food within easy reach. It is somewhat noisy when running. I don't think I would want it in my kitchen but it is out of the way and not really a problem for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Large space
I bought this freezer about a month ago when my other frigidaire broke after only four years. A repair person already had to come because ice was forming on the top in front of the light and around the door and leaking cold air at the top corner near hinge. He put silicone between the seal and the door. It still forms ice but not as much. The repairman said this modell does that.
It does not have a panel in the door to tell if temperature is off, if the door has opened, or electricity has been off like other freezer. The temperature adjustment is in inside at the back toward the lower half which means everything has to be removed to reach it. I would not have chosen it if I had time but it was the only one that could be delivered the same day.
The sides also get very hot. It is hotter since the repair. My first Frigedaire lasted twenty years. The second four years. The salesman said an extended warranty was not necessary since they last forever. This new one is not making a great impression, but this time I have an extended warranty. Time will tell.

Love my new freezer!

I bought this to replace a 30 year old freezer that went out. So far, I love it! It has lots of room and easy-to-use features.

Glad we got it at a reasonable price. Our old one was at least 20 years old. This is so nice as the old one had to be defrosted. It was a pain.

My New Frigidaire

My new Frigidaire is big and spacious enough to hold lots of frozen food.
Also, I have several bee hives. Occasionally unwanted pests get into the hive. The best way to control them is to remove the frames that have been affected and place them in my new freezer for a few days. Voila! No more pests.

This freezer is absolutely perfect. The illumination of the light when the door is opened is great. I love the generous shelf space and also the shelves on the door. To my surprise the is also a lock already installed on the freezer if I want to lock it.

What We Were Looking For But...

This freezer fit all the requirements we had for it except one...it is nearly impossible to open. It creates such an incredible vacuum that, even when loaded, if opened in the traditional way....ie, pull the door handle, the average person would not be able to open it. After contacting customer service, I was given a "cheat" in that if I reach to the top left corner and gently break the seal, then I could open it easily. I am 6 ft tall. This would not work for most consumers. I am still working to find a way to open it that will not degrade the seal gasket in the long run. Other than that, it's what we were hoping it would be. This item needs a vent to prevent the seal from creating so much suction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
