Exactly what we wanted

Purchased this freezer to use in our garage. Works great, has so much space for everything, and we've been very pleased with its performance. Giving 4 stars because unit does allow for option to switch door opening to left side, and it's difficult to open the door again if you've just shut the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this freezer a few weeks ago and so far, so good! I love the tight seal it has on the door. Love the big capacity and so happy to have the extra freezer space. I know I would not be happy without self defrosting model so that's what I bought! Loving my new Frigidare Frost Free Freezer!

Stays cold for long time during power outage.

Bought 8 months ago. Wanted an upright freezer that is efficient and keeps food frozen for long time during power outage. This does the trick. Had the set temperature dial go bad, that's the reason for 4 instead of 5.

However the egg keeper needs to hold a dozen eggs not 10. Not sure what the extra bin is for since it does not really fit anywhere so I just removed it. BUT LOVE the fridge.

My family and I are very happy with our new Frigidaire upright freezer. First off we did a lot of comparing and read several reviews along with consumer reports. This one stood out from the others and was the most bang for our buck. Plenty of room in this freezer with 4 wire shelves with 6 shelve slots for height settings to choose from. The door also has 6 shalves that are fixed but comparing to the adjustable door shelves this actually has more basic room. We did look at the next model up from this one and it had some nice extra features but we use this freezer in our garage so the extra features weren't something we needed. Plus I feel this one had more door room. I love how the door seals air tight and you can hear it as it's literally sealing the door when shutting. It's relatively quiet and sounds like a freezer should. It comes with a bright led bulb that lights up the whole freezer nicely. Another nice feature to this freezer is that it is energy star rated. Good to know it's efficiently working to keep your items frozen. The tempature has been very consistent and nice and cold. Easy internal low profile tempature dial for setting how cold you want your freezer. This freezer also has a nice size handle along with a key lock feature. A fun fact about this freezer.... it's so air tight that if the freezer is empty you will need both hands to open it. One to pull the door and the other to hold the door jam. Otherwise the whole freezer moves when you pull on the door. Kind of funny but rest assured that's a good sign because you want a good seal. After you have food In your freezer it becomes easier to open because the weight of the food keeps the freezer in place.
