A1000 Tablet
on December 3, 2013

The look and design of this tablet are very smart, but the function has a lot to be desired. The most vexing problem is the battery life. It takes forever to charge the battery and within hours you have no charge. You can get some marginal improvement by turning off the wifi. The response of the screen is poor and just trying to scroll pages will frustrate you.

Excellent first time user product

Be realistic, this is a budget product. I believe the manufacturer has included as much of the basic tablet function as it would be possible to do so, for the price. It feels smooth, well constructed and substantial. Display, storage, processor, audio and battery life all seem better than I expected - especially the dolby sound processing. The single camera is just about adequate (but is designed for Skype use I guess). Storage assignation seems restrictive but is perfectly aqdequate for me. Finally, its Android 4.1.2. That doesn't bother me either since this version seems to do all that is required.
Pros: Weight, Durability, Build Quality

When I installed the apps, it freezed and never worked out. I stored important info inside, but I could not access even via PC connection. This is the worst tablet.

worst purchase ever

I have brought three tablets from best buy at thanksgiving sale. I had to return two to store by Christmas. I was loading the games for kids and one froze up and the other wouldn't charge. Now not even a month after kids get them for xmas the last one just stops workin and freezes up and I have to send it off for repairs. I figured it would be a good tablet for the money and from a good store. I would never suggest this tablet to no one. not worth your money at all. I paid 125.00 each for them in the store.
Pros: Memory, Bluetooth, Storage

A RESET BUTTON AND WHERE TO FIND IT.....
on January 26, 2014

For those of you who wish to know where the "RESET BUTTON" is, looking where you put the SD card, and you will see a very small button. You need to use a small pin, or a push pin to push in that hole. Right away as soon as you push it in, in resets your tablet back to it's original settings, but I didn't find it changed any of my choices as in icons, apps, etc. I have a IDEA Tab A 1000 F, but it must work on all types.
Good luck, Diana
Pros: Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Processor, Security Features, Support, Included software, Durability, Software compatibility, Video card, Wireless card, Keyboard/peripherals, Screen size, Storage, Display resolution, Display performance
Cons: Warranty, Memory, Battery, add a battery with more power and time, weather does not allow to change from f to celcius

Great first tablet

This tablet was a surprise Christmas gift, and so far it's been rock solid in terms of it's reliability. I've found it quite stuttery when using Google Chrome, but apparently that has been an ongoing issue with mobile Chrome on low-end devices. Hopefully it will be resolved. Other than that, it's been very useful in checking and sending email when the computer is occupied and performs well in most cases when watching internet streaming video and playing games.I just wish that more games were available for download in this region (Barbados). The touchscreen is very responsive, although it is a chore to keep it clean. Overall I've been very happy with my first ever tablet and thoroughly enjoy using it and discovering more of it's features.
Pros: Battery, Input/Output compatibility, Weight, Included software, Durability, Wireless card, Build Quality, Display performance
Cons: Storage, Display resolution, Memory, Software compatibility
