Owner's Guide
on February 21, 2014
Posted by: Buster
Although I'm slowly figuring it out having a more inclusive Owners Guide would be very helpful. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out where I am and what I can get to. Granted I'm not a computer whiz but some additional info would be helpful.
Pros: Battery, Weight, Build Quality
Cons: Support, Keyboard/peripherals, Included Software, ease of use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Tablet

I have had this Tablet for 5 months and it has already been in the shop twice, once for a bad card reader and now it is not charging unless I stand and hold the charger in place. All I can say is if you plan on getting this tablet, be sure and pay for the service plan.
Cons: Storage, Memory, Build Quality, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible

You get what you pay for. Died within a week and will not turn back on. Purchased for a band's merch booth and died before we could even use it once for it's intended purchase. This is made for children or if something is likely to be stolen. If you don't wish to buy something expensive and you know it won't last, buy it. But this is not for serious users.
Cons: Storage, Video card, Display resolution, Warranty, Wireless card, Memory, Support, Input/Output compatibility, Battery, Bluetooth, Weight, Security Features, Keyboard/peripherals, Included Software, Software compatibility, Processor, Build Quality, Screen size, Display performance, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not impressed!

Got this tablet at Christmas time, had to keep resetting it to factory settings over and over again as it would constantly lock up. Purchased the cover to help protect the tablet also from this website with the hopes that it might actually help protect the tablet if it accidently fell. Well it fell yesterday off the couch and now has a million colorful lines all over it. No luck in resetting this time. Very disappointed kid! Not offered any additional warranty when we bought it to cover against accidental drops since we bought it from Costco. Buyer beware: if additional warranty is offered, you might want to consider!!
Pros: Battery, Processor, Memory
Cons: Video card, Warranty, Build Quality, Display performance, Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons: Video card, Bluetooth, Included Software, Software compatibility, no rear camera, no external video output, no utility software for pc, no sim card slot for mobile/4g connectivity

Technical Review Board

It seem that Lenovo has a long way of catching up to other Tablet technology. It doesn't matter if it is low, medium or high end product line, memory, storage capacity, etc., functionality is all very important. These are just basic functionality and the technology are available. The cost is extremely minimal to manufacture and produce. So why such restriction for the A1000 when Lenovo can surely do better and offer more for the price of a tablet. If Lenovo is really seriously want to compete in the Tablet market do better in offering better memory, storage, video, audio, camera front/back, etc.
Cons: Storage, Video card, Memory, Input/Output compatibility, Battery, Included Software, Software compatibility, Display performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
