required kitkat upgrade.

I purchase lenovo ideatab a1000 ( August 2014)
when I compare it with samsung tab 3 neo, all the specifications are same. samsung give kitkat upgrade but you not give any upgrade. why? ply talk necessary step for upgrade to kitkat.

wifi problem

I have purchased a new Lenovo A1000. when I tried to connect in a wifi tab shows wifi connected. but if we try to browse/mail/play station it shows no data connection

Am on my second one since last Christmas because the first one quit charging. Surprise, surprise, six months later, this one quit too. Freezes a lot, force closes programs randomly. Not worth the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had the A1000 (in white) for over a year. It is used all day and recharged every night. It was my first tablet and it is still the best little bit of computing equipment I have ever purchased. I got 1GB main, 16GB internal and a 1.2 dual core mediatek processor. I can't find anything that good for the same price now. Build quality looks and feels excellent. Reliability has been perfect (one factory refresh - an android problem, not the tablet). But then, I don't drop it and I do treat the charger with some respect. The sound is excellent and camera is awful but that is not important. It seems like excellent value for money and no, I do not work for Lenovo. And yes, I've seen other (ie Samsung) tablets and bearing the price hike, am not impressed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Two warranty claims in the first year

USB charge port issues - twice it quit working and would not allow the unit to charge. One board replace later and it still is a paperweight. Stay away.

I received my tablet for Valentine's Day. The price was great and the tablet still runs like brand new. I am very happy with my purchase.

This tablet is garbage. Kept randomly freezing, I kept getting hanging applications that forced me to close it down, the keyboard is spastic and works erratically, and to top it all off, now it won't even charge anymore. People say it's a good tablet for it's price, but unless those people paid fifty cents or less for it, I'll have to respectfully disagree.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this pad for like nothing! around 60$ !!!
It simply does the JOB!!! no matter what is it ...a game, application ....
For the price, it's definitely a bargain!!!
