Great Performance

Crisp printing with trouble free performance.
So nice not to have to put up with a mandatory, 15 line, printed receipt with every document that I create as I did with HP.

I've had quite a few issues with this machine starting with it going offline often. It's not easy to get it back online. Sometimes it decides to make me manual feed my paper in and that's not workable when I need to make dozens of copies. The company is easy to talk to and helpful and I do appreciate that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excelent machine

This is the best printer I have ever owned, I have been buying printer for over 25 years, so I have owned many. Every brand and type, never one that performed as well as this one. I have a home office so it gets used by everyone wirelessly and never fails. What a great product for a great price.

Excellent Printer

We operate two small businesses and this printer has met all our needs. The setup was effortless and the quality of the print is excellent. We have one computer hard wired to the printer and the other computer has a wireless connection - both work great!! The software that Brother includes is very easy to navigate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mostly good, could use improvement

Printer: Print quality and speed are good. Auto-duplex works well. Draws quite a bit of power, makes my lights flicker. A bit noisy but tolerable. The biggest complaint I have is that it shuts itself off on wireless network and won't wake up for print. I have to relocate it and hook up a wire to my router. Then everything works as it should.
Scanner: Works excellently. Set up the scan parameters at the computer, then feed the document, done!
Copier: Hasn't tried the ID copy function, but bravo for Brother thinking about this. Normal copy works fine.

Excellent Reliability

I have had my new printer for a couple months now. I have not lost contact with it one time. It works with my computer, iPhones, and iPads. I could not ask for more in a reasonably priced computer. I just wanted a black and white printer that worked, did not cost an arm and a leg, and did not break the bank in usage cost. This printer has been everything I wanted.
I am pleased with my purchase. I have a Brother printer at work and based on its reliability, I decided to try one at home. I am pleased with my decision.
