Some tasks OK others suck.

Simple printing is easy but scan or fax have the worst instructions I have ever seen. I will try to call tech support and see if they can help because the instructions certainly do not help at all.

Would be ok for at home. We purchased 2 for our office. They ran out of toner way too fast- even using the higher yield cartridges. Were kind of slow to print. After 2 months we purchased a commercial grade all in one from a local office supply store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a bad printer for regular paper, but does NOT do well with card stock. We were using this to print name badges for a conference and had to go out and purchase a new printer because it kept jamming.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value

Coming from inkjet works, this is amazing. Prints fast, has all the capabilities inkjet multifunctional printers have (minus color), but don't have to buy cartridges every couple months. Felt like it was such a rip off with having to have a working color cartridge on inkjet just to calibrate the black and white one. With Lasers, no calibrations, printers just work. In general, it feels like I am in the office and using a professional printer. Don't have to print at work anymore to get good and fast printouts.
The only minus I have for this printer is that it is sort of bulky compared to inkjets.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compac Model, Full features

Good speed, easy connection (except wireless). It's aparience is pretty good, only de display is a little small. The ID feature is nice. The toner is finished quickly. It is a graeat product.

I like the two-page feature - toner replacement is relatively inexpensive and easy to change - easy to connect with the WIFI

Best Printer I've Had

This printer was a gift from my son because they have several of these where he works and they all love it. The printer is super fast with consistent print quality, something I never had with my inkjet. And it converts to a straight path printer for heavier cardstock, again something my inkjet was sadly lacking. Overall, I love this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Print Copy Scan

I wanted a multi functional printer and this one was priced right for me. Everything works well once you get it set up. The Wi Fy was not as easy as stated to set up. The set up disk would not install the scan features and I had to contact Brother support to get the software to install it. The Brother web site would not let me register my printer and again I had to contact support. Everything works as it should but Brother needs to update their web site and make more user friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
