Good printer

I've had this now for several months. It works very well. I've been able to do wireless printing from my iPad easily. My only quibble has been inconsistent double-sided printing success with it, but my need for that is quite minimal. Overall, I'm very pleased with this printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Difficulty with Brother DCP-L2540DW

Good unit so far, except when initial toner cartridge runs out and must be changed. New toner cartridge does not work. Continues to show "need new toner cartridge". No one to answer phone in customer service on weekend or after hours. Glad I still have my old printer, which is simple and works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup - excellent performance

With an iMac and Airport Extreme Base Station, ignoring PC instructions and following guide in the Airport resulted in setup on wireless network in seconds. Very cool. Performance and quality of output: excellent. Has stayed locked onto wireless no problem. Scanning wirelessly also an excellent feature, as is the two sided printing. No Cons.

Wish they told me this. IPv6

The printer kept disappearing and I had to reset the wireless each time I needed to print. After weeks of exploring I discovered that setting IPv6 to ON it retained the printer info, no more resets'. Found it odd that this problem and easy fix was buried so far into the help info when it has to be a common issue.

This works great with our iphone ipad and pc with wifi. Just wished i could plug in a thumb drive. Document scanner a huge bonus.
