Brother DCP -L2540DW Great on Ink

This is the first Brother product that I have purchased but it will not be the last. The copies are excellent and we won't be paying for 3 Ink Colors that we don't need. The machine works perfectly and it certainly deserves a 5 Star Rating.

Great Asset to my office

Another Brother machine in a long line of purchases. I know what I am getting with Brother Machines, I like the serviceability of Brother and access to consumables at all my favorite office supply sources. This is the main printer for a second office location, the fact that it can copy & scan a Big Plus!

I especially like the wireless feature which actually works. I could never get that feature to work on my previous Brother printer. My only complaint is that these are designed so that when the platen goes, it is actually cheaper to buy a new printer than to replace the platen and a toner cartridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than good

I wanted to have a printer that didn't need constant ink cartridge replacement. This printer is still on the startup cartridge and I've printed perhaps 150 + sheets and it still does a fine, clear and legible copy each time. Auto power saver and auto start up work fine and with a large quantity paper storage, it is truly a pleasure to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never works properly

I’m not sure if there is a problem with my network or he printer but this thing never connects to my network and I constantly have to reboot it in order to print anything. And forget about scanning anything. That is worse than printing. Never works seamlessly the way it should.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ordered this specifically because it prints ONLY black and white. I got so tired of printers that print color, when I don't need it, the ink dries out and you need to replace it and it's costly... Finally an all black cartridge, prints great, double sided, has alot of paper, also scans (had to return another one I bought cause it did not scan).. this is PERFECT.
