I saw The Dark Knight from start to finish and I loved it. I truly loved at the end where Batman kills Joker and he kills Two-Face and this was one of my favorite Batman movies that I ever liked. I know this movie is close to 8 years since they made this movie back in 2008 and it had the late Heath Ledger playing the role of the Joker and for me, I cried when I saw his last movie. The Joker was the best villain that I ever liked from the Batman movies and I will always remember Ledger for playing that role. Thank you very much and I will recommend this movie to my friends and my family, too and I will see this movie again with them. I will see it 200 times more because it's my favorite movie ever. i love the imax scenes because of the clarity and movement is awesome...other than that the reg scenes were mediocre....images were the same as if i watched it on cmocmast hd channel....very disappointed
are there any blu ray discs that do not have the black bars??
What's great about it: IMAX scenes are amazing
What's not so great: all other scenes

This movie is known all over American and known as an awesome movie and is overated for no good reason. The movie is just ok, but nothing special. The only great thing about the movie is Heath Ledger, the acting is good, the plot is good, and the action is good, but it just isn't the big great movie you would expect. Overall an ok movie, expected it to be better.
What's great about it: Ok movie, good extras, acting
What's not so great: Not Great, way overated

Based on this movie and how popular it is I do not wunder why there is so much violance in the world. I saw this movie in the theaters and the only thing that I remember about it is that it was extremly vilent. I feel that there is something extremly wrong with our world if vilance is somthing that people go to the teaters to see. I think of movies as entertanment and if seeing someone, that it is apparent has ether checked out of reality or has some mental problems, go around and kill people as entertanement is just wrong to me. And I do not find that entertaning there is enuf vilonce in the world that I do not have to go out and watch a movie that is all about vilance to have a "good time".
What's great about it: I loved how into the carecters the actors got
What's not so great: The reast of the movie
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This movie was ok but definitely over hyped. the filming and cinematography was great in this film. Heath ledger was the only good part about the film. the rest of the cast did okay but didn't really stand out in their roles. The story had great ideas but wasn't the best delivered. A lot of the movie felt forced on the audience. overall was a decent popcorn flick but that is about it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Despite all the action, it still boils down to the cops letting a bad guy go and having to constantly chase him. Nobody in the real world could get away with what this idiot does! I will not waste my time watching this BS again!!!

I want a hero that will hold my flashlight during the dark night. You know, I really wanted to like this movie. I know a lot of people do by the reviews and the way my friends talk about it, I just don’t know what I missed.
This movie is actually pretty great. It is just not that great of a movie. Let me explain this to you. The movie has a great story and is creative, just would have fitted into a comic book better. It is rather stressful to sit down and watch the whole thing through. I don’t know, it’s just too dark for a relaxing watch, definitely good for a serious viewing though. Now, you might be thinking that I am the type that does not like gritty, dark films, but I have watched and enjoyed films such as: Flags of Our Fathers, Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, etc. Also, people come to love the most horrible character I have ever seen depicted in a movie of any type, the Joker. Now, I just don’t find it too humorous when you make a joke of a pencil going through some dude’s head, killing your hired hands, and blowing up hospitals. There is more, but I do not wish to spoil your afternoon with spoilers. (There is a reason they are called that.) What I meant earlier by the first sentence in this review, is that Batman seems to have lost his edge to kill or at least seriously threaten the head honchos. In the first installment of the series, he leaves his mentor on the track to his doom. In this film, he is reluctant to hurt that pretty face of the Joker’s we have all seen.
Watch the film and prove me wrong, you will most likely enjoy it for at least the first time.
What's great about it: Amazing acting, Batman
What's not so great: Need a therapist to digest the film.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
