Great Sound and Noise Cancelling, but Poor Quality

I purchase these headphones a couple of years ago in the hope I would be investing in a quality product. The headphones work well as far as sound and cancelling noise, but the craftsmanship has a lot to be desired. Unlike most headphones, it's usually the cable that fails first -- I haven't had that issue with these. What has happened is the glue for the speaker casing failed with both earbuds (about 2 months apart), which makes the noise cancelling useless, because there is now a high-pitched noise when I try to use it. The speakers (without noise cancelling) still work.

Best headphones I own!

I purchased the QC20 two years ago for travel and work. No issues with build or sound quality over that timeframe. One of the best headphone purchases I ever made. The QC20 are outstanding for reducing or eliminating background noise. This allows you to keep the volume at a low level yet still enjoy the sound, save your ears!

I wear these every time I fly. Blocks out the noise well. I'm able to sleep too. Watching a movie on plane the sound is awesome.

Good sound but quality still in question.

My husband bought us both a pair in 2014 to use while traveling to Zimbabwe and they worked great. Use them every time we travel and they have been useful however recently on my past few flights I noticed that the left speaker is not functioning and my husband said his right one is on the blink. I want to purchase another pair however don’t want to waste the money if they will have the same problem. I only use them for travel...which is quite frequently but they should still be in good working order for the limited amount of time we actually use them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fly a lot. Without these my life would suck horribly. The remove the noise and fit nicely, and they are small and compact. I like the large over-ear headphones too, but they are just too big to be lugging around when I travel, so these do the job nicely! Sometimes I run out of charge, so I wish they'd charge in the phone, but you're not going to find a better brand of noise canceling ear buds, and I know, I tried them all! Also, after two years mine broke somehow, and I took it to the store in the airport and they replaced them free! Awesome product, amazing company!

STILL WORKS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these earbuds for about 2.5 years now. I love the way the ear piece fits in the ear, I have small ears so I was happy they came with 3 sizes to choose for the earpiece- small, medium, large. These stay in when I am working out, hiking, or jogging, which is a must for me.
I am very sensitive to noises when I fall asleep, so the noise cancelling function paired with white noise or ASMR works like a dream.
About a year ago, I accidentally put these babies through a full washer AND dryer cycle, and they are STILL fully functioning!!! Sound is still great, noise cancelling still works. Would highly recommend these earbuds.

Long lasting and great noise cancelling!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these three years ago and they're still working perfectly! I haven't experienced any issues with the cords or the sound quality (both of which are fantastic). Every year I end up taking several long flights (12+ hours), and these are always a must. They make planes much more comfortable and quiet. The only negative about these headphones is that the noise cancelling is good enough that I don't always hear when someone is verbally trying to get my attention - but that's a pretty good trade off to me! There's also a notable difference when I turn the noise cancelling function on, even when there's no music playing. Overall, I highly recommend these headphones.

My Bose Experience

I loved the head phones the first year or so! Noise canceling was great. Charging and run-time was great (7 hrs no problem). I don't use the head phones daily but I do travel so find myself using them a couple times a month. Bose provides a nice travel case for them as well. I might question the design of the case now that I see what it has slowing done to my wires. Headphones cut in and out now and I'm in the market for a new pair I guess. I expected a high quality sound which I feel I got but they were not made with same same consideration. I'd have to question the amount paid for product received.
