Excellent Headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Android version of the QC20 and love them! The sound quality is spectacular and a treat to my audiophile hearing. I enjoy listening to my legacy recording and hearing sounds and instruments that I wasn't aware was there all these years. The earbuds are super comfortable and stay in place during my run or bike ride. I also use the QC20 as sound reduction when I mow the lawn. I can barely hear the lawnmower when I have music on. Buy these and you won't be disappointed.

High performance, noise-canceling, in-ear phones

I bought two pair for my wife and I. She needs the small ear tips and I need the large ear tips. These in-ear phones work great and significantly reduce outside noise interference. I've used the over-ear and on-ear phones during international flights and they work great, but eventually irritate the ears. The in-ear phones fit snuggly and can remain in the ear for hours on end with no irritation. Make sure you use the properly sized ear tips or you will experience outside noise infiltrating the ear drum by bypassing the ear tip. We highly recommend these in-ear phones and are considering purchasing pairs for our daughters and their husbands.

Best in ear headphones

I've had the QCi20 for over a year. Best headphones ever. The noise cancellation is unbelievable. Makes music sound amazing. Three months ago they got stolen. I was very disappointed but with the quality and sound of the QCi20 headphones, I went back and bought a new pair. With these new ones when the volume is all the way up, the sound begins to go in and out(distorted). So I have to lower the volume. Over all well worth the price.

Powerful relaxation and productivity tool

I have had my earbuds for nearly two years. I use them on flights, working with loud tools, in the car on noisy roads (I have very sensitive hearing and they are very good at blocking low frequency tire howl while allowing you to clearly hear what you need to, including of course approaching emergency vehicles) and of course on phone calls. They are part of my road warrior kit and I don't like to be without them. For me, a middle aged sales guy, they can make the difference between a successful sales call and embarrassment under difficult listening conditions such as in a terminal or fast food restaurant. They also bring sanity to difficult situations such as being stuck near a crying child on the plane. I highly recommend them. However, I would give 5 stars if they were only WIRELESS!

Very nice headphones

I am a well experienced Bose customer, I had a couple of headphones sets before, and a speaker form Bose. When It comes to quality sound I always would chose Bose over other brands. I was not a big fan of noise cancelling system – even from Bose, I was just getting a weird feeling from it. But this thanks giving I got a pair of QuietComfort® 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones. This was by far the best experience with headphones I had so far.
Headphones are every well assembled, no loose parts, made out of very quality plastic. The in-ear part is made out of silicon and fits in the ears perfectly. Headphones come with three sizes of StayHear®+ tips – small, medium and large, I decided to stick with the medium size. It fits in the ear very comfy, but after 5-6 hours of usage I started feeling a little discomfort in my ears, also it was not very comfortable to fall asleep in them. The thing I liked a lot about the headphones is that left and right is very easy to distinguish – which a lot of earphones do not have. The cord is made out of harder plastic you would see in AE2 headphones (not sure if they still make them), seems to be very reliable, but I am still kind of concerned about it, it has two more bases because of the noise cancelling block, that is where wire usually breaks (if breaks) – it breaks at the basis because it bends, but I hope this won’t be a problem. Being honest, this wire as all wires tangles In a pocket too. The block itself doesn’t cause any trouble putting it in the same pocket with a phone. The only thing I found myself not happy with was the clip - at the airport I unclipped headphones from my shirt countless amount of times.
The noise cancelling system is something amazing, I did not like it before, some friends gave me to try their headphones sometimes – I though it is just not mine. This pair changed my mind, it took me about one song to get used to it, and now I wonder how was I living without it all that time! Right now I am on a plane, enjoying some music. With regular in-ear headphones I would need to turn the volume all the way up in order not to hear the engines, but noise cancelling thing does its job so well – you do not hear it at all! These pair also provides you with a feature of turning noise cancelling off – which I think is pretty neat, if you want to pay attention to what is happening around. When using noise cancelling for a long time - battery lasts around 8-10 hours, which is perfect for one day.
The quality of the sound is always great, Bose has never disappointed me with it. Compared to cheap in-ear headphones that I was using for past three months CQ20 is a completely different experience. When listening to something like The Dark Side Of The Moon – you are truly able to experience sound and music at its best, I have even heard some new parts I did not hear before. I usually listen to music for at least 3-4 hours a day, so if you are a customer like me QC20 would be a perfect fit for you. It does not take any space, weights nothing, and provides you with great sound quality and noise cancelling feature.

Good Headphones

I bought these a couple of years ago and I love them. I tend to use them the most at night when my husband starts to snore. I just reach down the cord and flip on the noise-cancellation. While not perfect for just noise cancelation, by the time you add your favorite music, you are good to go. The sound is great and the headphones are comfortable. I thought they were somewhat pricey, but they have lasted my nightly use. I recommend them.

I purchased my QuietComfort in-ear headphones about 18 months ago. For the first 16 months, they worked great, the sound was amazing, especially for someone who travels a good amount on airplanes. Unfortunately over the past two months, while there no is noticeable wear on the headphones, the aware button has stopped responding. This certainly wasn't the end of the world, so I decided to live with it, until about a month ago sound is now only coming out of one of the ear phones. Unfortunately the warranty is only a year, so not much I can do at this point beyond buying a new set. I may have just been unlucky, but I did put in effort to taking care of this expensive product, I would have expected a bit better reliability.
