I fly a lot. Without these my life would suck horribly. The remove the noise and fit nicely, and they are small and compact. I like the large over-ear headphones too, but they are just too big to be lugging around when I travel, so these do the job nicely! Sometimes I run out of charge, so I wish they'd charge in the phone, but you're not going to find a better brand of noise canceling ear buds, and I know, I tried them all! Also, after two years mine broke somehow, and I took it to the store in the airport and they replaced them free! Awesome product, amazing company!

Absolutely Love!

I bought these for travel and for studying and they've been amazing! I usually have trouble with these short of ear buds but these fit great and never hurt my ears even when I wear them for hours. The noise cancelling feature is great and lasts for awhile between charges. Yes, they were a bit pricy but for as much as I use them, it's been worth it!

Yes, these re pricey.. however having tried every other brand, high and low, these are worth every penny! Flying domestic and internationally on a monthly basis, these are my favorite travel accessory. I've had mine for 5 years now and I am just now having to buy new silicone buds.

Great Sound, Clunky Design

The sound quality is stellar and nothing short of what I have come to expect from Bose. I am an unwavering and devoted fan of this brand, however, the design is where these headphones fail me. Initially, the rechargeable battery pack makes for an impressive feature. You can toggle the noise cancellation on and off at your leisure. Where it gets messy I suppose is with the actual weight of this part. It's too heavy thus causing the headphones to easily come out of the headphone jack at even the slightest touch. It's really annoying. Say you're jogging, and don't have the headphones plugged in just right and free from any obstruction, you will be mid-run and they'll fall out. Have your phone in your bag without being really careful to wrap the pack around it? It's slipping it out. This happens often. If you are on the move a lot, you will have to be stealthy when it comes to placement of the jack. Also, it would be nice if the headphones knew when they weren't plugged into anything. You will drain your battery if you forget to turn off the cancellation switch. The clumsy design makes them just okay, in my opinion. I am looking forward to the next iteration of these since they weren't inexpensive by any means.

The bud's consistently separate at the seam

This is now my third pair and they all have separated at the seam.
I am easy on my headphones, i'm not a kid, I am a professional and take very good care of all of my belongings. Proof, Im writing this from my still in excellent shape and very operational 2011, 17" MacBook pro.

Best headphones but not durable.

The sound quality of these headphones is incredible and the noise cancelling is very helpful as I usually work in environments where I need to block everything outside to concentrate. I own my second set of these at the moment and will most likely buy the same ones new when they die. My problem is that I'd like not to have to buy them as often. On the inside they're truly superb and also very confortable to wear but the actual quality of the battery case (is basically starting to split open in 2 pieces at the moment), thin rubber cover of the battery and the cables, specially the joining parts, is terrible. It wears off and looks cheap. I think that part of the design really needs to be addressed by Bose, unless is all about planned obsolescence.

Questionable reliability

I bought this product for myself for Christmas 2016. Left earpiece came apart earlier this week producing a high pitched, ear piercing squealing sound. I've seen similar reviews. When they work the sound quality is fantastic, but or the price the product needs to last longer.
