Best Bose Product Since the 901 Speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these as a kind of gamble between these (unable to test before buying) and the overear version. Because I travel international frequently on commercial airliners I wanted to be able to enjoy movies and music more than the cheap earbuds given out by the airlines. I bought these in 2015 and 4 years later that original pair is still kicking stronger than every. I am extremely impressed. They set the bar very high in terms of in-ear noise canceling earbuds. I also appreciate the ultra compact size of the earbuds when put into the carrying case. For people who like to be minimalists.....saving weight and space when traveling.....these are perfect. One of the most impressive buys I have made in years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if they are this exact model, but I've had similar Bose in-ear headphones for 7years and they are just now falling apart. Came here to get some more :)

Does a great job of noise cancellation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these as a replacement for the same headsets that I lost on a trip. They work great. I use them primarily at the gym to drown out the ambient noise and the music they play that I don't like. I also love them while flying. They do an excellent job of cancelling the jet engine noise.

Not the same

I bought a pair of these three years ago and they were showing wear so I replaced them. They do not neutralize the low frequency noise as well and BOSE engineers will not admit it. I called to explain and they are either lying or they don't care - just like any other manufacturer. I am no longer romanced by their products and I own a lot of Bose stuff. There is clearly a difference in the engineering of these newer units.

Highly recommended to block out snoring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these back in December after Bose recalled their sleepbuds. After testing over $1000 on various anti snoring solutions, these turned out to be the best. I plug them into an old phone (airplane mode) running a white noise app and put them both in a fabric workout belt so they stay with me if I turn over. Between the ANC and low-volume white noise, I can't hear any snoring. The only environmental sounds that get through are one-off high-frequency sounds which ANC can't do much about. With 16 hours of battery life, they cover me for two nights.
I have two bits of constructive feedback.
1) The mic picks up outside wind very easily on phone calls
2) I have read reviews about the aux cable ripping at the 90 degree bend. As such, I never let the ANC box free hang, which can make it awkward to use since I feel I must hold it at all times. Perhaps I'm being paranoid though.

Great Sound—Cheap Build

I have owned four of these between myself and family. Sound is wonderful.
But truly made very cheaply. Wires will fray. Ear buds themselves actually split in half (on three of them), the plastic cover of the control device will fray and fall off (always) and the tabs that keep the rubber earpiece in place will brake. I have glued them back together a number of times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it destroys them! These would be acceptable at under $100. For $250 to never last a year.. not acceptable.

Hello,

It's awesome to hear how much you love the sound performance for the headphones! It's disappointing to hear that the headset is physically damaged. We recommend storing the headset in the included carrying case when they're not in use, to extend the lifespan and avoid accidental damage. The great news is all Bose products come with a one-year warranty. If you experience any difficulties during this time, please contact us. We'll be happy to help you out.

Love the fit and cancelling

I've had the earphones for over a year and use them to quiet the noisy air conditioning sound that you find everywhere. Even if you don't listen to music, these are specacular. I've used them mowing the lawn and even on a motorcycle where they are not so adaptable to the wind noise and earplugs are better.

I am never disappointed with Bose and the QC20 is no exception. They are well made, fit very comfortably, seal out the noise even with the noise canceling off and even better and richer with it on.
