Money well spent!

The QuietComfort 20's are the best noise canceling earbuds I've ever owned. I used them heavily during periods of frequent international travel, and they make plane rides significantly more pleasurable. The battery lasts a very long time, the noise cancelling is good, the ear inserts are the most comfortable I've ever used, and it all comes with a soft case. I only have two minor complaints. First, the toggle button on the controller broke for me, so I could not switch between noise canceling and non noise canceling without reaching into my pocket to flip the switch. Secondly, it was always tricky to get the battery and headphone jack to sit nicely with my phone in my pocket. The best way was with the jack pointing straight down, forcing it to absorb pressure from the phone in many cases. Otherwise, I'd recommend this product to everyone.

Excellent Headphones

I have the Android version of the QC20 and love them! The sound quality is spectacular and a treat to my audiophile hearing. I enjoy listening to my legacy recording and hearing sounds and instruments that I wasn't aware was there all these years. The earbuds are super comfortable and stay in place during my run or bike ride. I also use the QC20 as sound reduction when I mow the lawn. I can barely hear the lawnmower when I have music on. Buy these and you won't be disappointed.

Great noise cancellation & sound, BAD microphone

The noise cancellation is amazing, far better than the early QC2 headphones I had. Flip the switch, and the outside sounds disappear. They're really comfortable to wear and stay in place. BUT... the microphone is awful. Every single phone or video call ends up with people saying "I can't understand you, it's really muddled." So they're great for music, but REALLY bad for two way communication, which is a big disappointment for the price. Bose, put some attention to the mic next time and not just the earpiece!

Highly recommended to block out snoring

I bought these back in December after Bose recalled their sleepbuds. After testing over $1000 on various anti snoring solutions, these turned out to be the best. I plug them into an old phone (airplane mode) running a white noise app and put them both in a fabric workout belt so they stay with me if I turn over. Between the ANC and low-volume white noise, I can't hear any snoring. The only environmental sounds that get through are one-off high-frequency sounds which ANC can't do much about. With 16 hours of battery life, they cover me for two nights.
I have two bits of constructive feedback.
1) The mic picks up outside wind very easily on phone calls
2) I have read reviews about the aux cable ripping at the 90 degree bend. As such, I never let the ANC box free hang, which can make it awkward to use since I feel I must hold it at all times. Perhaps I'm being paranoid though.

Yes! These block out snoring!

I've had these for about two months and these have maybe saved my relationship. They've definitely saved my sanity. I was at wit's end with my partner's snoring. We'd tried a bunch of stuff to get him to stop snoring and they weren't working. There were times I'd fantasize about smothering him with a pillow (sleep deprivation is no joke!). I decided to try these out, sure they wouldn't make a difference, but confident in the 30 day trial period. I can still hear the snoring if I really strain to, but why would I do that? The noise just goes quietly into the background and I naturally don't focus on it.
On a recent hot night, we had the box fan in the window on full blast. It was pretty loud. White noise, but pretty loud. I turned on my headphones and was shocked that the fan noise totally disappeared.
I don't use these outside of bed. The battery pack seems a little bulky and I already had regular headphones that I like (and are cheaper and I'm not in fear of breaking), so I don't really have a commentary on how the sound is on these (I only listen to podcasts or nature sounds). You also can't sleep on your side with these on (back sleeping only). And the light on the battery pack is kinda bright for nighttime. All these things aside, I still am in total love with these headphones.

Great Sound, but flawed in design

I’ve had these headphones for a year now and I love the sound quality that is Bose’s, but now I’m experiencing some issues with the design. The noise canceling battery has proven to be a bit heavy when using the Jack attachment for my iPhone, when I plug in the headphones music automatically plays and if I move the phone it will disconnect when I’m on a call and also it will randomly play different music or Siri will come on without me prompting. While I love these headphones I now am bummed I have to search for a lighter alternative because they only work when I don’t move around or touch the phone.

Not the same

I bought a pair of these three years ago and they were showing wear so I replaced them. They do not neutralize the low frequency noise as well and BOSE engineers will not admit it. I called to explain and they are either lying or they don't care - just like any other manufacturer. I am no longer romanced by their products and I own a lot of Bose stuff. There is clearly a difference in the engineering of these newer units.
