The noise cancellation dream came true

With these headphones I felt that the noise cancellation dream came true.
I traveled 8 hours by plane and after putting on the headphones I could not take them anymore because it was like passing from the silence of your room where you listen to the piano music to the noise of airplane engines to snore and make a big headache.
I thank the Bose team for their intelligence and development in order to be able to put on the market these headphones which, because of their size, are even easy to carry, since I do not have the patience to carry large headphones with me, which, after a while, leaves me ear perspiring.

Amazing noise cancelling, great sound quality

Use them flying

I wear these every time I fly. Blocks out the noise well. I'm able to sleep too. Watching a movie on plane the sound is awesome.

Poor Quality Aesthetics

I bought the white version a year ago and use them daily for work and listening to podcasts/music/etc. This is my first Bose headphone product and I was instantly in love it and thought the noise cancelling was fantastic.
However, I've learned over the past year that the quality/durability is terrible for the price. Although I'm careful with storing them in the nice zipper pouch that comes with the product, within 9 months the rubber connecting the cord with the piece that plugs into the phone has worn away, exposing the wires inside. Additionally, there's a rubbery film that covers the rectangular battery part that has torn and is falling away. I've had the wires becoming exposed with other headphone products, but they were a tenth of the price of these headphones so less of an investment. I'd consider other options for headphones unless you're ok with buying a new pair of these each year.

Durability Beyond Beleif

I have owned my pair of Q 20's for just over a year. They perform exceptionally well for my rail commute and flights for business. This past weekend, much to my horror, I found that I had not removed them from my pants pocket and they went through a cycle in my washer an dryer! When I removed the clothing from the dryer and saw what I had done, I was already contemplating getting another pair. But, just for giggles, I decided to try them out. I plugged them into my iPhone and, remarkably, they worked as well as ever. Who would have thought. Maybe you could start promoting them as Washer/Dryer safe! Anyway, thanks BOSE for producing such a rugged, top-performing product.

Love the QC20!

All I can say is I hope Bose keeps these around forever. If these went bad or I lost them, I'd buy another pair... that's how good they are. Basically I wouldn't want to go without them. I do worry about that small piece of cable from the battery to device and the battery life but I guess I will deal with that. What I love is the versitality. They are small and lightweight, awesome for travel. And the best part is I can tune out all outside conversation at the office even without using the noise cancelling! And they still sound good. They are expensive for sure, probably too much but I can't imagine not having them now. They are so good... if I knew Bose was going to discontinue (which I hope they don't because you need wired version for airplane entertainment which the wireless can't do) I would buy a spare. Wish I would have invested sooner. Good stuff.

Pretty good audio, awful build quality

I've had it for a year, and since then I've had quite a few problems with it. I treat them fairly delicately, but there is a solid amount of wear and tear on these. Since then, the both earbuds broke open and I had to super glue them shut on separate occasions, the synthetic material covering the box slowly peeled off, and finally when I turn the headphones on, the right earbud has an excruciatingly loud screeching noise, so I no longer have the noise cancelling function on these. They are comfortable though, and one of the best fitting earbuds I've used.

Sound good, Wiring is poor

I have owned this for a little less than 2yrs. The covering for the noise canceling activation part has completely peeled off. With the way the wiring is attached to it , you have to always bend and stress the wiring when you want to fold the earphone back into the soft case....eventually this eats at the wiring which is what I have now- the wiring are exposed.and 1 of the earbud is complete mute as a result.
I would like another but not sure I want to invest in this again.
