Loved it while it worked

I've had my headphones for about three years. Although they were expensive, they worked as promised: small, rechargeable, and great for travel. Unfortunately, now the headphones have intermittently stopped noise cancelling on left side; at times the headphones also emit a piercing electronic sound on the left side.

Great sound, dreadful quality

I've gone through two pairs of QC20i headphones so far--the sound quality is great. The noise cancellation is truly excellent, and the battery lasts quite a long time. My big beef is that the build quality of the product sucks. On two pairs, so far, the headphone buttons have stopped functioning at around the 7 month mark. On pair 2, I'm also experiencing the cord detaching from the battery brick.
It's frustrating to spend so much on a product that needs constant replacing. I would not purchase them again.

Amazing , amazing ear buds. Only negative is they stick out of your ear enough that its not comfortable when laying on a pillow. I would still buy, work very well.

Great sound and noise cancelling

I bought them a week ago and the sound and noise camcelling are great. I travel a lot and I barely heard the noise from the plane and was able to sleep comfortably. The price tag is high. My only serious complain is that the bag they provide is too small for the device. Ot twists the cables which in tine is going to affect the sound quality. I expected a better bag design that ensured a long lasting quality product from bosse.

Best Headphones I've Ever Had!!1

I have had these headphones for about 2 and a half years and they are by far the best headphones ever. This includes over ear, on ear, and in ear headphones. I've had multiple Bose, Monster, and Beats headphones and nothing compares to these. I recommend this to anybody who is looking for headphones. The price might seem steep before you have them in hand but the quality all around is worth way more than the price

Love noise cancelling and the size
on September 10, 2017

I use them everyday on my daily commute. I can sit behind the engine of an MBTA commuter rail train and and they drown out the engine noise and any chatter among the passengers. They are also a must for air travel. What I find most appealing beyond the noise cancelling is the storage size. I've own a pair of QC15 headphones and the noise cancelling on these is equal and it takes up 1/5 of the space which is important for frequent air travel. I don't have room in my carry-on bag for larger items.
I really hope that Bose puts out a version without the battery that draws power from the phone or can come up with a smaller design for bluetooth. Until either of these is true, I'll be sticking with my QC20.

Great if you're not moving, otherwise annoying
on September 9, 2017

I bought these a few weeks ago, but had to return within a few days. First off, if you're not moving these are amazing ear buds, and the noise cancellation is excellent.
However, started to walk around and the cable housing creates a hugely distracting scraping noise that reverberates into the ear buds (when using noise cancelling). Simply unacceptable given the cost and supposed quality of the device. Additionally, the cable and battery configuration is really poorly thought out - you have to keep the battery right next to your phone, rather than providing enough cord and placement that would be more flexible for different use cases.
Finally, MOTORCYCLISTS listen up. Purchased this to help reduce noise and listen to music in my helmet. The noise cancelling FAILS at speeds above 50 mph. Not just fails, but creates an incredibly uncomfortable (and honestly painful) ear popping sound as the mic tries to compensate for the wind noise. So bad, that I had to emergency exit the freeway and take out the ear buds.
So, really unfortunately - I had high hopes for Bose. Had other products that have been "sound" but this experience will push me away from their tech.

Cord is too short

I'm extremely happy with the Bose QC20 ear buds, however the cord is too short. I upgraded to United Airlines Polaris Business First, the jack for all headphones is behind you top left. Every time I tried to take a bite of my entree, the jack pulled out. You need to add a minimum of six more inches to the cord. You're denying the folks that can afford your product, the ability to use it.
