The quality of the headphones in regards to sound and the noise-cancelling feature is a 5/5. The ease of use is what is 2/5-3/5 because they fall out of my ear too easily (even when different size rubber thingys). I wish there was a mold that would fit around my ear similar to how the beats pro wireless ones work so that they don't fall out of my ear. It causes huge inconveniences as I only use these QC20 headphones when I travel and when i'm walking around airports for connecting flights, they fall out of my ears so I carry my apple headphones. I wish I could use the QC20 all the time but they just don't fit well enough.
I just bought these because I now lawns at work and trying to drown out the sound of the commercial mowers was starting to hurt my ears after a long day but after I bought these, I couldn't be more impressed with the noise cancellation I can't even hear the loud mower anymore, which I turn I can keep my music at a lower volume without hurting my ears. No matter what environment you're in you won't hear anything definitely worth the money.
I've bought my headphones in 2013 and used them nearly everyday at work. They are extremely comfortable and clear. Perfect for traveling. Im now looking to replace them after the years of wear, and plan on buying the same pair
I bought these to negate the frequent chatter in the office; I was impressed with how well these work. Sometimes I don't even play music, I just use the noise cancelling option, it's like I'm in another world, I can focus so well now. The way I see it, it's an ROI.
This review covers my 3rd set of QC20's. I fly with some regularity and flipping the switch on the battery pack activating the noise cancelling makes me smile every time. I also have the over the ear headphones from Bose, years old, that have been relegated to my girls. The comfort of these in-ear headphones is incredible. The over the ear headphones will eventually become painful to wear, and I suppose these do too, but many hours later. If on an 8 hr flight, I might remove them to eat or to use the bathroom, then they feel fine again. Circulation maybe? They come with 3 different sizes of earpiece, to make sure you get a good fit. I wish the battery were smaller, but I like the fact that it lasts all day. I listen to music and audiobooks. The sounds fits my preference...I am from the 80's and love rock and roll, and the sound fills your head without crushing your ears. Just try them! I am careful with mine...if you are not, you may run into durability problems.
I bought my headphones 2 years ago. Due to the short length of the jack wire to the battery it was obvious that the wires would break sooner rather than later because of the weight of the battery hanging putting pressure on the cord and jack connection all the time. I really only use these headphones when I fly. Because of the way the battery hangs and puts weight on the jack the rubber outer wrapping broke where the jack connects to the cord. These are too expensive for this kind of obvious failure mode. Very frustrating in the middle of my flight to Japan. I had hoped I was wrong to worry about the poor design....
I bought the Qc20i about 2 years ago, still going strong. Great awesome sound, beautiful detail in 3 phases, bass, midrange, and treble. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it.
