Poor design!

On my second pair after returning the first pair under warranty. The sounds is fantastic and the noise cancelling feature really works great but the design is horrible! Why would you bend a wire at the port is beyond me! Just over a year on second pair and wire at port began to fray and wires at the noise cancelling switch has similar issue. Now looking for another pair on headphones :(. Expect more from a $250+ product

Extremely comfortable and effective headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these headphones (Android) and the airplane adapter two years ago, primarily for long airplane trips. The noise-cancelling features enhance the ability to hear movies and music. When turned on (but not plugged into any devices) the headphones create almost perfect silence. I slip the small battery unit and cord into a chest pocket and get great sleep on the plane. I'm using them now for work to cancel out the noise from a major building construction project across from my office. Great headphones if treated carefully.

Expensive for a wired device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the QC20 free when I purchased an aviation headset. I used the QC20 for three days of airline travel (three separate flights with about 5 hours of total use) and a day around my house. The obvious major downside is the fact that they're wired. The apple version did not come with a lightning adapter. The sound quality is excellent - just what you would expect from Bose. The noise-cancelling worked well in a relatively quiet environment - around my house with minor background noise. In the back of a noisy airplane, the noise cancelling was only slightly better than another brand of in-ear wireless headphone (without noise-cancelling) that I use regularly. If you need noise-cancelling for a noisy environment, go with an over-the-ear headset over these.

Great to hear that you enjoy the sound quality of the QC20's. These headphones are not exclusive to Apple devices that only support the lightning connection. The difference the Apple variant has is actually the controls on the inline remote.

Excessive 11 Pro Battery Drain

My phone battery normally lasts all day and into the evening - when using the QC 20 headphones I lose 50% of battery capacity in just over an hour. Two stars because I do enjoy the sound but otherwise it was a poor investment.

QC20 are a go!!!

The noise canceling headphones really make my long walks more enjoyable! 16 mile walks are not long walks but, enjoyable journeys! I am eagerly awaiting QC20 in wireless version. Love my bose!!!

Great headphones to travel

Ideal when traveling by plane , the use not only to listen to music because the noise cancellation makes the whole trip enjoyable, without the annoying external noises
