Love my new QC20 headphones -- beautiful sound and great when you want to tune everything else out. I'd buy them again. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to my friends and family.
I've had these headphones for two years. They've demonstrated excellent sound quality and very good noise reduction. The stayhear tips are fantastic. Around year 1, the control switch stopped working properly as if the switch is semi-jammed. Just stretching or breathing will cause the volume to change. Unfortunately the switch hangs at the center of the chest, right where you place pressure using various equipment at the gym (reverse flys, incline presses, etc.) and it's simply not strong enough to handle these situations. I advise using wireless headphones for the gym, and save these for travel, etc.

These are simply incredible, the noise cancellation is fantastic. Once I was walking past two trains and I couldn't hear a thing with the noise cancellation. However I have an iPhone 7 and it's clunky to carry around with the headphone jack adapter.
Great Sound and Noise Cancelling, but Poor Quality

I purchase these headphones a couple of years ago in the hope I would be investing in a quality product. The headphones work well as far as sound and cancelling noise, but the craftsmanship has a lot to be desired. Unlike most headphones, it's usually the cable that fails first -- I haven't had that issue with these. What has happened is the glue for the speaker casing failed with both earbuds (about 2 months apart), which makes the noise cancelling useless, because there is now a high-pitched noise when I try to use it. The speakers (without noise cancelling) still work.

I love my headphones! Sound quality, battery life. My issue is with the cable. After two years the cable that connects to my phone is frayed, wires exposed - about to break. For the money these did not last long. Would not buy again.

I bought these headphones about 6 months ago and love them. Everyone that tries them out can't believe how well the noise cancellation works. I want the white pair next. I highly recommend these head phones. Oh btw, when I am on the plane I could be right next to the engine and not hear it.
I absolutely love these headphones, but I've been through two pairs of them in the last year and a half. The comfort is fantastic, and the sound is really great. I love being able to tune out. The only big problem I've had with them is that the wire that goes into the batter pack on both sides comes loose after about 6 months of use. The result is a crackling and shorting out of the noise cancelling function, which is really annoying and tends to hurt my ears.
Bose has a great warranty program, so that's helpful, but I wish I didn't have to go through the hassle of replacing them at all. I hope they find a way of reinforcing those wires. Then it'll be a 5 star from me!!
I purchased my QuietComfort in-ear headphones about 18 months ago. For the first 16 months, they worked great, the sound was amazing, especially for someone who travels a good amount on airplanes. Unfortunately over the past two months, while there no is noticeable wear on the headphones, the aware button has stopped responding. This certainly wasn't the end of the world, so I decided to live with it, until about a month ago sound is now only coming out of one of the ear phones. Unfortunately the warranty is only a year, so not much I can do at this point beyond buying a new set. I may have just been unlucky, but I did put in effort to taking care of this expensive product, I would have expected a bit better reliability.
