Great Headphones

I love studying with these headphones. I have never found over-ear headphones to be comfortable over long periods of time, and these headphones deliver the same kind of noise-cancelling qualities of the over-ear devices with extra comfort. The ear buds on these headphones are fantastic and I can leave them in my ears for hours without even noticing they are there.

Good Earbuds

I bought this product a couple of months ago and they worked great but then they broke luckily Bose has an amazing costumer service and sent replacements. The Bose customer service is great. I highly recommend these earbuds but the sound quality is not great when you do not have noise canceling on.

The ultimate audio experience in a small package, excellent noise canceling and isolation that gives you the zen moment you are looking for.
Cons: Some of the remote functions doest not work with certain android cell phone. The design if can be more elegant would be nice (bulky battery pack).
Over all: if you are looking for excellent audio, look no further!

Incredible

I actually bought these over a year ago and never had the opportunity to use them during travel. I took them on a plane recently and was blown away as soon as I powered on the noise cancelling circuitry. Simply amazing! I almost forgot I was on a plane! I hope to never endure air travel again without these little gems. If you listen in environments with lots of ambient noise, these are worth every penny.

Great sound great noise cancelation, clunky box

First flight with these was so quiet, the noise cancellation killed the all of thedroning background noise. I could still hear the cre announcements and my music sounded really good. My only bug is the box housing the battery and processor. It's has a two inch jack connection the plugs into your phone headphone jack and the rest of the earphone cord comes out the other end. The box just flops there. A holder that snaps onto the box and phone would be nice. Could be an accessory matched to the phone or case of choice or even a special case with a holder for the box.

Bose QC20 - a bit of a disappointment :(

This is my 3rd in-ear Bose headphones. Prior to this, I had the Bose IE2 and then the MIE2 which were really awesome! But they got battered already due to prolonged use.. Thinking I will get the same sound quality experience as with previous Bose in-ear headphones, I went on to buy this qc20. But apart from the active noise canceling feature (which is really2x great, by the way), I was a bit disappointed with the audio quality of qc20. It lacks that "oomph" which I normally find in Bose headphones.. I'm missing that exquisite combination of deep, full, rich bass & crystal clear sound. Sadly, I want to go back to my old, battered, over-used MIE2...

However, you should definitely be getting even better sound quality from the QC20 headphones. In addition to the noise-canceling, the QC20 headphones should also delivery outstanding audio quality with rich deep bass and clear highs.
One thing that may help is to blow out the microphone ports on the earbuds with compressed air to remove any debris that may be blocking the openings. If that does not work, there may be some other things to try and we would like to help you with that. Awesome ear phones ... But!

Everything about these "in ear" headphones are incredible, especially noise cancellation, but more development of the "Stay Ear + tips" is definitely needed. I tried all 3 sizes and the large fits the best, however they do not seat very well in the ear, and with just a little head movement they nearly fall out, would like them to seal better.

Finally! Comfort with no adjustments.

Finally! A pair of earphones that stay in my ears and have great sound, oh, and not to mention they are extremely comfortable for long hours. When working out, cleaning, working or simply relaxing I don’t have to constantly adjust them; no ear aches either.
When it comes to sound I'll be brief. I felt that it was just right. The bass has a nice deep hum and kick. Mids and highs weren't overshadowed by the bass so you get a nice and balanced sound. None of the levels outweighed the other.
The noise cancellation is very good with extremely good battery life! I went for a few runs outside during prime traffic hours (don’t worry the sidewalk and highway are separated by trees, so I don’t have to be on high alert.). Five minutes into my run I turned on noise cancellation and was amazed how the busy world around me came to an abrupt end. Noise cancellation really focuses you into whatever task you’re doing. It’s just you, your music and your task. I even enjoyed noise cancellation without the music, despite the slight hiss you hear when music isn’t playing. Noise cancellation is so enjoyable I now can’t go to work without these earphones. Sometimes at work I sit right next to a portable A/C unit so all day I hear constant blowing. I never realized I heard that blowing until I shut on noise cancellation and voila, it was gone.
Now everything isn’t perfect with these earphones. My only complaint is the battery unit. It tends to get in the way. Especially, when taking your phone in and out of your pocket. My fear is that with time the battery and cord will develop a shortage from the constant pulling and bending you take it through. Also, when I put my phone into my workout sleeve I have to take an extra few minutes to organize my phone and battery into the sleeve. This gives me the impression that Bose didn’t design these earphones for a lot of moving activity. You may want to consider an alternative if you’re really active and sweat a lot. If you don’t mind the being a little careful then you should be ok.
Overall, I highly recommend these earphones. I don’t find them to be overhyped even with the steep pricing point. You definitely get what you pay for! Only time will tell the quality of their build.
