Excellent Quality

I recieved these headphones, for free, as a part of the Bose Test & Review program. I've had them about a week as of now, and in my experience they're great headphones, though they have a few issues.
Cons:
1. The battery is a bit clunky for those not used to it, and I had to devise a specific way to pull my phone and the battery out of my pocket without the audio jack coming unplugged.
2. The earpieces need to fit particularly tightly in your ears to get the best quality out of the noise cancelling effect.
3. The plastic that makes up the actually earbuds which houses the speaker feels somewhat cheap and easily breakable.
4. Sound quality is noticeably worse when the noise cancelling is turned off, something I notice with my QC25's as well.
5. When the noise cancellation feature is on, and you have no audio playing, there is a noticeable buzz, though not very bothersome as I got used to it, it initially did cause me a headache or two.
Pros:
1. Great noise cancelling for earbuds I would purchase these before any other leading brand.
2. I love the "Aware Mode" feature and found myself using it fairly often.
3. These are a great alternative for individuals who do not like overear headphones but would still like the effect of noise cancelling.
Bottom Line: These are great headphone, with great audio quality, which few other brands who make noise cancelling earbuds can even attempt to rival. Though they have a handful of issues, none are particularly bad or ever caused me to no longer enjoy the headphones. I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for great earbuds.

Perfect for work and a long flight!

I have some extremely loud and chatty coworkers and originally was trying these out at work. I know noise cancelling aren't supposed to eliminate voices but the combination of the in-ear design and noise cancelling technology these do an outstanding job. After a few days in the office I took the on on a 5 hour flight to Hawaii and loved them. I was able to sleep with them in even on my side. Being able to leave the earbuds in and make use of "aware mode" to hear cabin announcements and speak with flat attendants is very nice. They are an expensive purchase but after the long flight and use at work are worth it.

Incredible Bose-quality sound

To begin with, the sound quality in these headphones is truly outstanding. I also have the Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker, and the sound quality of the headphones is much superior. While that may not necessarily be a fair comparison, as they are for different uses, it was the first thought that came to my mind when I used them.
The noise cancellation feature also works great. I wasn’t sure at first how well it was working, but when my husband tried to get my attention when I was using the earphones, he had to yell at me and finally gave up when I wasn’t responding (because I was blissfully unaware of his entreaties).
The ear buds are comfortable, but like most earphones, these always seem as if they are on the verge of falling out of my ears, and I feel like I am constantly adjusting them to keep them in. That may simply be because of the shape of my ears, or maybe I’m not using them correctly? I’m not sure. But I know that I probably would get frustrated if I tried to use these earphones while doing anything active (running, elliptical, skiing, etc.).
The carrying case could stand to be a bit larger. I feel as if I am cramming the headphones into the case, and am worried about what damage that may do to them over the longer term. I am sure that if I folded the headphones correctly each time they would fit into the carrying case just fine, but honestly who really knows how (or has the time) to store them “correctly”? I'd love to see the carrying case just a touch larger.
Next is the functionality of the 3-button remote control (and in particular the Answer/End button). While I applaud Bose for the effort, is anyone really going to take the time to memorize the myriad of commands that would be necessary to use this feature to its fullest extent? For example, if I wanted to go to the previous track, it instructs me to “press and release Answer/End three times quickly”. Or, if I want to rewind the current track, it’s “press Answer/End three times and hold”. However, is it too difficult to simply perform those same commands on your phone? I’m not sure I understand what value this really adds to the package.
The battery life is great. It lasts as long as it says it does on the box.
Despite my critiques, this is a truly wonderful product. If you are going to spend the extra money on these earphones, do so because of the premium sound quality and noise cancellation features. These would be a great gift for the music enthusiast in your family or the discerning, oft-traveling businessman or woman who truly appreciates the finest-quality products that make their life a little less hectic on the road.

The only thing I don't like about th Quit Comfort 20 is the connection to the phone. After using it my thought is that it should have a straight connection and not at the angle made. Just my feeling. Everything else is great. I like that I can wear it with a hat on a plane.

the product is good, but the problem is having that big peace of noise cancellation peace that you don't know how to deal with, its to big for the pocket and the phone to be fit in at the same time, and when ever pulling your phone out of your pocket you get the peace disconnected.

Great sound, soft case too small

Excellent sound and noise cancelling. Very comfortable. But control/battery module is worrisome while "dangling" from phone. I use a rubber band to attach secure it to my phone. Also, soft case is too short: the cable must be bent sharply at a 90 degree angle on each end of control/battery module to fit inside. I worry this will lead to premature cable failure. Bose obviously thinks it is OK.
