Cord is too short

I'm extremely happy with the Bose QC20 ear buds, however the cord is too short. I upgraded to United Airlines Polaris Business First, the jack for all headphones is behind you top left. Every time I tried to take a bite of my entree, the jack pulled out. You need to add a minimum of six more inches to the cord. You're denying the folks that can afford your product, the ability to use it.

Good headphones, Bad build quality

I bought these about 3 months ago, and was pretty happy. The noise canceling was good, and they sounded decent. However, over the last 3 weeks the ear tips have fallen off 4 times. Twice I was not able to find them. This is very frustrating and I am considering selling them, especially since they were so expensive.

Best in-ear noise cancelling headpones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought another pair just because I couldn't find any pair that would come even close to these... However the reason I had to buy a second pair is because when using my first pair I started to hear static in both ears when the active noise canceling was on :(

Best headphones but not durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sound quality of these headphones is incredible and the noise cancelling is very helpful as I usually work in environments where I need to block everything outside to concentrate. I own my second set of these at the moment and will most likely buy the same ones new when they die. My problem is that I'd like not to have to buy them as often. On the inside they're truly superb and also very confortable to wear but the actual quality of the battery case (is basically starting to split open in 2 pieces at the moment), thin rubber cover of the battery and the cables, specially the joining parts, is terrible. It wears off and looks cheap. I think that part of the design really needs to be addressed by Bose, unless is all about planned obsolescence.

They don’t really stayhear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my QC20. I never go anywhere without it! Noise cancellation is amazing and sound quality is always good. However, I am in my 3rd pair in and I’ve faced problems with white noise with noise cancellation on around a year in with each pair. My biggest issue is with the tops. They easily slip off the earphones and get lost quite fast! The replacement aren’t exactly reasonably priced either!

Great for travel, some feedback noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had these for 3 years and I love them. I also have the QC 35 headphones but I prefer these for travel because they're so small, easy to pack, and more comfortable to wear on long flights. You can rest your head on a pillow, unlike with over-ear headphones. They're excellent at blocking out background bass drone. They only slightly block out voices. Great for phone calls in busy places.
My only complaint is that when I plug them into my iPhone and put the phone on the desk next to my laptop or anything electronic, I get electronic feedback hummmmm. Not super loud but enough to be distracting. I use the dongle. Interestingly, if I put my finger on the metal base of the phone near the dongle the hum goes away instantly. Customer service just said this was normal. It's annoying, especially on calls. But for airline travel they're great.

FANTASTIC noise cancelling feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in a resale electronics store and was a little skeptical but no more. They are amazing. I LOVE them. They block the noise around you and on airplanes they help me relax blocking all that air noise. Even though mine were used, I have kept them in the case when not in use and they still perform like new every time I take them out. Bose knocked it out of the park with these.

Exceeded expectations, but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I was worn at the Bose store, I purchased these for use under my helmet while riding a motorcycle. Their ability to cancel road, wind, engine, and other low frequency buffeting noises exceeded my expectations. I compared them to Etymotic ER4 and 30db ear plugs. The Etys stock out too far out of the ear for comfortable helmet use, but their sound quality was superior. I’d give the Bose 5 stars, but sound quality wasn’t awesome (just good), the battery isn’t replaceable, and their sound isolation isn’t great. They made a good product, why not allow for a snug fit inside the ear canal? FYI - I stuffed the mic section into my helmet and made a phone call. It was amazing. I could speak softly at 65 mph and the other person said it sounded like I was using a car Bluetooth system. I tried using them on a lawn tractor, but they did not perform well. They couldn’t handle the noise level and lack of sound isolation was poor. Offer a replacement battery and fix the ear fitment and you’ve got a perfect product.
